Well, I worked on it for about 45 minutes but I decided I didn’t have the patience today but yes, I did get a little achieved took a little while to figure out where I left off plus I bought the kit used. Somebody else already started it glued. The rear ends are in backwards so I couldn’t use the air brake pots or the drive line
  2. Ok mechohaulic it’s a lousy day 10 o’clock in the morning decided to pull this down and start glueing a few things I’ve run out of excuses ha ha
  3. before i had a class 1 i used to wrench in a full service gulf station.....customers would drive me nuts doing that......and joey i dont think you could work any cheaper
  4. My uncle had one way way back when I was very young. He didn’t have it long. I think I got rid of it somewhere in the middle 60s they were very interesting I’m not going to say I actually liked them ha ha.. they were certainly nowhere near as ugly as the Volvo… Bob
  5. I did have an HO train set think most of us did ….. I used to see this incredible looked like hand built cars snd trucks from the 40s running around this track somewhere in so cal it was a yearly show,,, this display was just a part of it … I used to stand there for quite a while and watch everything going round and round and I can’t remember where it was or what show … I think it was Pomona fairgrounds….   7. I have never had one, but I was up at a friend of a friends house around 15 years ago his whole garage was full of trucks and buildings and scenery. I was pissing myself.

  16. if this helps last kit i bought was around 1200 bucks ....300 apiece exchange for rebuilt heads....but that was 37 years ago ,,,so probably triple that,,,,and if available????? bob

  20. i looked at an 80 R model for sale one time...oakland california mack dealer....it had a steel dash,,,,i went back in and told the salesmen about it....they were all dumbfounded,,,and so was i...lol...strange things happen sometimes bob
