  1. I did not guess it was that far back seems to me. It was pretty advanced for 1957.
  2. Yes, I forgot all about him. I told they brought him up on the news.
  3. Yeah, for sure plus the fact I don’t think you ever had any trouble finding dates ha ha
  4. Besides I used to be a teamster years ago And I was asking one of the representatives about far-fetched demands and he told me no we don’t expect to get anything like that. We just shoot for High and settle for anything decent. They hand us kind of like selling a car you set up with a very high price not expecting to get it if you can get it fine and that made sense to me. I was just a very young guy back then.

  10. Yes, I’m sure they needed them up there as well
  11. I’ve actually been up there numerous times where they close the road right behind me. It was so bad also chained up one night and they close the road. I had to turn around and go back and take them off.
  12. I’m sure you fellas have heard a time or two sometimes that passes closed 2-3 days on account of too much snow that’s the one they have to go up there and completely clean the entire pass with those big cutters
  13. We are around 40 miles east of the big mountain and we really don’t see a whole lot of it here mostly just cold air. A lot of winners will get just a few inches half dozen times and a lot of times it’s all melted off by noon. Yes, I cry way more about the weather around here than it really is.
  14. Yes, I have heard that from Cattle and hay drivers
  15. it snows so hard and heavy in that area,,,sometimes its so severe,,,they cant even plow the roads, they have to use cutters,,not sure if most of you have seen them ,,thier giant snow blowers they have to use to clean surface roads
  16. yes they do,,,,allotta box trucks coming over with boose use them as do school busses

  19. I even got caught a couple of times of my pants down had to chain up the Mustang to get home. I used to carry a set in the car just in case I had to use them twice. I have a four-wheel-drive F150 I usually drive in the winter but a couple of times we had a surprise snowstorm when I got back
  20. We talked about that in a different tread a lot of three axles out there have a tag axle. Doesn’t help you at all when you’re empty. I also used to carry a pair of cheater chains the length of chain with a hook on the end and you wrap them through around the tire through the rim and it’s enough to get you out of a spot, just takes a couple of minutes to put them on just getting out of the yard as you mentioned
