  4. I haven’t been there in years, but I thought the fire station was right there someplace.. United auto parts was in there somewhere .. I used to work. There.. was right in there someplace. Also, I think it was a little further down past the City Hall compared to some other towns it was a pretty small town Square. Super subs are used to go there all the time that was also gone last time I went through there.

  14. We were talking about letters and phone numbers. I’m sure you’re remember those days as well. Ours was Jefferson five in 1964
  15. Wow, that’s amazing. Ithaca even today has not got a whole lot there homer even smaller. I was very impressed with the entire area. That was the smallest airport I’ve ever seen. As far as Crank phones, I don’t think I have ever seen one in person only on TV.
  16. I think I’ve made the comment before I grew up in the most boring town in the United States
  17. Well, we had one home improvement center there pretty good size for the time much bigger than a hardware store. We used to buy everything there now it’s completely gone. The building is not even there anymore. It’s a strip mall. And yes, it was a great place to grow up never in a trouble there at all the town was really quiet. Our newspaper police lottery section really never had anything in there except stupid shit like somebody kicked over Mrs. Smith birdbath dumb stuff like that never any crime at all. The cops used to sit in a small park and read the newspaper.
  18. No, I did not know him. Thanks for that. May he rest in peace. I was also a third generation driver and as far as I know the last one. After many many years, I was sick to death of it, but still admit it’s not the worst racket you could get into still a lot of money to be made when you land the right job but for sure all the fun has gone out of it even for newbies don’t know what they missed… bob

  23. Now she is almost retired registered nurse. I still see her as a little pipsqueak hard to believe it. She’s 66.
  24. Well, they did not talk for a number of years after she moved out and could not wait to do that. They were tight after a while but yes, I do remember she could not get out of there fast enough from what I remember. She did not want to do what she was told at all
