  1. If it is a VMAC I or II (electronically controlled inline pump) it's probably being caused by an immediate lack of oil pressure to the econovance.
  2. Some thermostat numbers that might help. No Longer Available Mack Six Cylinder Pre-ESI Engines – 155 deg. F No Longer Available Mack Six Cylinder Pre-ESI Engines – 170 deg. 3. This might help, I've tried scanning it half a dozen times and this was all I could get. I think the valve you have may be from a V8. Oil Pump Relief Valve Information.pdf
  4. Wasn't someone supposed to blow a siren or something?
  5. Did the same thing on a traded in RD once when switching from 6 volt to 12 volt batteries, for some reason I hooked the 12 volts up in series just like the 6 volts were. I think it was because of sun stroke that I did it, least that's the story I'm gonna stick with.
  6. A black guy... An illegal alien... A Muslim... And a Communist... Walk into a bar. The bartender asks... "What can I get for you, Mr. President?"
  7. Here are the part numbers for the PTO opening covers six bolt opening cover part number 412KB213P3 eight bolt opening cover part number 412KB36P2
  8. Heh heh. Every body always picks on Rob.
  9. Good idea pulling it off. I had a 12 speed the owner wanted rebuilt due to whining noise at road speed. It had a 6 bolt PTO that wasn't being used that was causing the whine. The 6 bolt and 8 bolt patterns are pretty much industry standard. Allison uses a 10 bolt pattern. Clean up all surfaces and seal with silicone, a gasket may not seal against the stamped metal cover.
  10. That's probably it. I can't remember how many wires actually go in/out of the connector, but there are 101 cavities in it. It should be above and to the passenger side of the steering column.
  11. Click the donate tab at the top of the page
  12. 4103-5000361541 (Renault part number). I think it will fit up to at least 1995.
  13. Check the MCFC 101 pin connector on the cab bulkhead. It sounds like the J1939 datalink is not functioning which would cause your inability to communicate with the truck as well as the DPF switch fault and probably the 251 (engine time) fault.
  14. The video isn't much better. What's more, it looks like the trunnion stand has a brass bushed spindle but the trunnion housing looks to be the two piece rubber type.
  15. You are correct. Same way with M suffixes as a general rule.
  16. The E7 engine was converted to run on natural gas.
  17. Mack Trucks Annual Report from 1946 Dated 10 years after the first report that I found, this document is from the same accounting firm. This report on Mack Trucks' earnings for the year 1946 has a nice bit of information about Mack's military production Author rhasler Category Antique & Classic Mack Info Submitted 09/25/2011 09:53 PM

  20. Still dedicated to the stove top percolator myself, none of them new fangled devices fer me. Last electric coffee maker I had was one I cobbled together out of several others so that I could drop my 32 oz Aladdin thermos into. No pouring, mixing, or mess, just 32 oz of steaming hot refreshment.
