  3. It sounds to me like he used a soft steel? He needs to use well over 100,000 PSI steel on that frame. Hardened steel won't bow or bend like you said but it will crack! Find out what steel they used Bullhusk

  14. If your lookin for the 8.25-20 2-piece rim I think they have been outlawed and then you had the Firestone split rim that was split from one side to the other an fit into a groove with a solid ring around the outside. They are both very dangerous rims and have been outlawed since the 60's I used to cut them with a torch when ever I came across one. I'm sure you know what your doin but I would stay away from anything from the junk yard BULLHUSK
  15. I had a guy call me who said he was from England and had 2 Brockway 360 U's for sale in the US! The guy had a Jamacian accent and would send pic's then I would send him 5,000 to hold the trucks till he came over to square the deal????? So I said ok should I buy your plane ticket too?

  17. If your dad wants a Detroit it would be a lot E/Z to put a Silver 8V-92 475-500 hp motor in then a V12 BULLHUSK
  18. WOW what a nice place to grow up! I came from Kearny NJ and it don't look nothin like that part a Jersey! An about the camera! I had my phone but I still forget that it also doubles as a Kodak !! Bullhusk
  19. I have one with a V-12 RL700L at the time (1971) it was rated @ 475 hp mine is about 525 maybe? Your gonna have to move the cab back about 6" to squeez that baby in but it's gonna be well worth it!! It is by far one of the best engines ever made and not many will catch you if you are geared right, and they last for ever! There is nothin like the sound of a V12 or a V 8. Mack! Mack made a 6 " spacer between the cab an the hood and there is no cut away for the vent in the hood you also have to make room on the driver side for another air cleanerBULLHUSK
  20. I took a ride from my Northhampton PA yard yesterday to look at a cement tanker in Woodstown NJ, the tanker was at S J trucking on RT 40 WOW what a nice operation the guy has there! they have 4 MH Mack CO'S that they use for there yard tractors! They at one time ran a fleet of Macks but now run Petes. Well I bought the tanker and will be goin back to pick it up so I will be sure to take pictures! Also they have some older Mack parts OEM so I will see if he wants to post any of them if he wants to sell any! Very very nice bunch a people that run a class act truck term..... I think so anyway! BULLHUSK
