  1. From the album: Jacob Moneymaker Excavating

My nephew drives on nights and weekends for me sometimes.
  2. Shot in the dark here.... I'm guessing for an R or a B model.... or a '49 Studebaker pickup?
  3. Welcome to the site! The newest Mack transmission I've owned was a 1982 two stick six speed which, in my opinion, was unbeatable. I haven't heard good things about the newer Mack transmissions, though.
  4. You need to check out Tri State Mack in Memphis, TN. They restored an E model beautifully, but swapped in the drivetrain out of an early nineties Dodge 3/4 ton pickup. (5.9 12 valve cummins, six speed transmission) Someone that doesn't know much about trucks would think it was a factory job.. I'm gonna have to get on the ball with posting some pics.. I can't remember if it has an external air cleaner, though. I'll be sure and check next time I'm up there picking up parts.
  5. To be honest with you, I don't guess I've ever even seen an aluminum Palmer. I'm gonna have to check into that though.
  6. Yup, where you back into a stockpile to dump and it picks the back wheels up off the ground. lol
  7. I didn't know Hilbilt made it that far north. They're built about two hours away from me. Do y'all ever see any Palmer trailers up that way? They're built in Amory, MS and seem to be the most popular around here.
  8. I saw it too... It's pretty sad. Did you notice the passenger side mirror was missing? Like the whole bracket and everything. I'm not sure how they backed it up without killing somebody.
  9. Took the words right out of my mouth.

  11. Does anybody know what's up with the air cleaner? My F model has a Farr air cleaner, but it looks like this truck has two stacked on top of one another.
  12. I didn't realize it was a 13 but I guess you guys are right. I remember seeing a conversion kit in Largecar magazine or something like that...
  13. Ok, not a Mack, but purty awesome nonetheless.
  14. Two seperate gear boxes, right? Would it hold up? I'm thinking the aux would go in place of the swing bearing.
