  1. Mack made there own body's well into the 80's 1983 I think the last one went to a dept in New Jersey across the river from NYC.
  2. Not the same one but came from the same place. Philadelphia retractored a few Amercain LaFrance 700 tillers 1950 vintage with new 1960 Mack B85 's .These are 2 from that time that made it out . The one on E-bay was given a new diesel air brakes rear and compete paint job so it could go down the Interstate with no problems. it is owned by Wayne King and he has had it on E-bay before . The one at Matts is owned by John ? at this time who lives in Greene Island on the New York border with Canada. That one is still gas 707c but if he kepts it will also go over to diesel.

  14. That rig did a lot of work on the I 287/I 87 spilt at the NJ/NY boarder about ten years ago, have not seen it in a while.
  15. Hahn has been building bodys for Mack for many years! When Mack got a big order or were getting behind Hahn got them out of trouble as a sub contracter. As for the ladder brackets they are the same as my 1957 B-95 #1070 and are the same on many models in that era.
  16. I was asked to start a chapter and did , they [he] said he will come to our first meeting to help set things up. That was it! never heard from them [him] again! even went to the dinners they had at the show and watched other new chapters get there charters, Me I got shit! then I joined the Connectcut yankees and been happy ever since! former pres.
