I feel sorry for the these driver's who are stranded out there. The company didn't even have the decency to let tell them they are going out of business. Most companies would have gave their driver's notice. I read other reports and it says for some time now a driver was stranded at a truck dealer because Arrow couldn't pay the $1500 repair bill. Most of these driver's are stuck without fuel money because the company deactivated their fuel cards and when they tried to get fuel they couldn't. This is wrong on all levels! I didn't expect them to go out of business because they were hauling oversize loads here for the ConocoPhillips refinery expansion. But supposedly the owner is/was facing charges of embezzlement.

I was referring to the smaller fleets like the 1-500 truck fleets. The big fleets can test them cause they got the money to afford them and can afford the downtime and besides they get discounts on so many trucks that they buy/trade in.

Mack isn't the only one having problems with the 2010's. Every manufacture is having issues which is why most fleets are keeping their current equipment. It's too much of a risk for them to upgrade to a 2010 due to all the new emission crap they have to comply with. If it was me I would wait until the 2012 models come out before I'd buy a new truck but that is just me cause hopefully by then the bugs will have been worked out from the 2010's.

I seem to remember growing up and hearing this doom and gloom about global warming and how it was threatening the Earth. You know what's funny, I never bought into that crap and I'm glad I didn't!
