Be nice if ole F.L. Moore bought Other Dog a Mack for Christmas. If your old B series wasn't a cement mixer you could have signed on with them as an owner operator and avoid the problems with that Peterjunk all together.

Being paid percentage has it perks but it's better than being paid by the mile in my opinion unless there is no work.

These days if you get a DUI Illinois has something to where you got to place a machine in your car and blow on it before it will even start. A DUI isn't worth losing your license or worse CDL over and speaking of CDL I just renewed my permit.

Good point there Gambi! I forgot F.L.M ran Coronado's, I know they had a whole lot of Columbia's in the fleet. I think they advertised a couple of them in truck paper that they were selling.

Actually I was at home, I never go out and drink I make sure I'm home for the night before I do drink which is very rarely. Actually you can get a shooter in anything they have the same amount of alcohol as a shot glass which is plenty for me and gives me a very small buzz.

I don't see how people can drink to the point they are drunk and then drive. I had a .5 pint of Crown Royal and Coke. I drunk it all and I'm feeling the hang over and I hate it. For starter's I threw up once, went to sleep and woke up 3 hours later and can't go back to sleep. I felt like my head was floating away from my body, I was stumbling and I couldn't even do the heel/toe method. Sure I was coherent but I know good and well I was in no state to be driving which is why when I drink (shooters) I make sure I'm home for the night. I got no problem with drinking but to drink until your drunk and drive is plain ridiculous. After last night I'm sticking to shooters cause I hate the drunk feeling, it's not pleasant at all. I don't see how college kids can party and get drunk off their tush every weekend and enjoy it. They say they are having fun, naw I say they are making a complete fool of themselves because there is nothing fun about getting drunk and having a major headache the next morning. Besides that they are wasting their parents and the government's money all on partying and not focusing on getting an education like they should be. I done rambled on long enough. Never heard of them, I think there is a trucking company based in Virginia called Appalachian Trucking or something like that who is an all Mack fleet, they have red trucks.

B61Mack, the fleet with the green and yellow Mack's are Sharkey/Sisbro Transportation. Other Dog, I remember reading something about them being the first to use qualcomm as well and it may have been crazy to not idle the truck back then but they were trying to save money and I don't blame them but then again diesel was cheaper back then. You got to remember your dealing with country folks they live without ac and heat, now if they were city people they would be screaming bloody murder. Funny thing is I can live without ac but I got to have heat. Speaking of Burn's they are one of the few test fleets who were testing out the new emission Mack Pinnacle's with the DEF.

I seen a Burn's truck all the way out here a few times myself. I wish there were more all Mack fleets out there but in this day and age most companies are worried about their bottom line instead of brand loyalty.

There are not many all Mack fleets out there. I know Polman Transfer out of Minnesota is an all Mack fleet and so is Sharkey Transportation out of Quincy, IL. I think Sharkey is in cohorts with Quincy Mack in some way since they seem to have ran Mack for years and the newest Mack they got is like an 02-03 from what I seen in their fleet, hell they still run some older CH's I believe. I wish DM Bowman was still an all Mack fleet, sell outs! Anyway there is a 3rd all Mack fleet, Harrisonburg Motor Express out of Harrisburg, VA I'm not sure if they are still in business or not though Harrisonburg Motor Express and there is a 4th all Mack fleet I forgot about it. They are Burns Motor Freight out of Marlington, WV and I think they have a few Freightliner's in the fleet. I'm sure Other Dog has heard of them and seen their trucks. I never ran out West but if your in 110 degree heat and if the driver runs the truck like they normally do when it's cooler then yeah it's more than likely the driver causing the problem.

My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day. He has his food prepared for him. He can eat whenever he wants, 24/7/365. His meals are provided at no cost to him. He visits the Dr. once a year for his checkup, and again during the year if any medical needs arise. For this He pays nothing, and nothing is required of him. He lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than He needs, but He is not required to do any upkeep. If He makes a mess, someone else cleans it up. He has his choice of luxurious places to sleep. He receives these accommodations absolutely free. He is living like a king, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever. All of his costs are picked up by others who go out and earn a living every day. I was just thinking about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a brick in the head, Holy sh*t, my dog is a Democrat!!

I was expecting to get a shooter of Crown nope my mom got me .5 a pint of it. It was only a couple dollars more. A shooter is like $5.00 which is outrageous.

Don't feel bad I know nothing much about alcohol myself. I'm surprised Crown Royal was the same price, normally Crown Royal is a bit higher. Be careful with some of those home made Virginia moonshine, they tend to burn a hole in the top of the jug. I seen it for myself this past August. You can keep the grits. I hate them!

I'm with Other Dog on that one you can't blame the engine manufacture's blame the EPA. Cummins has always had EGR problems from the start. Not sure if they have got it fixed yet. I don't recall Detroit having too many problems if any at all. Maybe F.L.M got a bad batch of CATs cause the ones we had where I was working at never had any problems really. I guess with CAT it was really a luck of the draw deal for customers, either you got lucky or you got stuck with a bunch of gremlins.

Never heard of Creeces and now you know Tom I've eaten black eyed peas and greens. C'mon now you know I got some Virginia blood in me. Now the thing with the (In my best Virginia accent) black eyed peas you got to add in some stew tomata and some sugah to give it a sweet flavor. I like my greens with ham chunks in them and pieces of bacon and soaked in vinegar. You can't have greens without them being soaked in vinegar and you can't forget the corn bread to complete it. Speaking of vinegar I like to slice up cucumber, tomato, and onion and put it in a bowl and add a bit of vinegar to it along with salt and pepper and let it soak an hour or two in the fridge. Speaking of fish (Rainbow Trout or Catfish)I like mine fried with some Texas Pete hot sauce. I know some good eating when I see it, it's already bad enough I got a Illinois/Virginia accent going on. As far as a New Year's tradition I like to have a little alcohol such as Crown Royal.

Amen brother! I too prefer a Kenworth over a Pete any day especially for the room and quality.

I don't have a fax line myself either but I have a printer, scanner, copier, and fax in one. I'll just wait til you get a load out here to deliver it to ya. Better yet if ya want I'll just UPS it to Rob.
