  1. It also just occurred to me that you'll want to swap flywheels and pilot bearings, but I think you already knew that anyways. Early morning fog, just wanted to make sure you don't do extra work because of me! The pilot bearing for the Eaton Autoshift is 20512915.
  2. The flywheel housings are different, the mDrive flywheel housing is 23030729, which is luckily available to order from Mack. The engine blocks are the exact same, as are the timing gear plates and covers, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to swap flywheel housings.
  3. If I had the VIN's I can cross them no problem. Just had the same issue with a customer's truck that had rolled over a while back, so they installed an engine and cab from a different truck, leading to us ordering the wrong flywheel for the engine, and then the correct one was wrong for the Allison in the chassis, because the engine was specced with a Maxitorque! We had to chop the ears off the Allison to fit it, voiding warranty with customer's approval of course (they did the same when piecing this Frankenmess together).
  4. I'm here, usually. Lurking in the shadows... The part number for the valve off a '98 T2180 is 25501019, Mack has them in stock.
  5. I think most of our guys remove from the top, I don't usually get asked for tandem pump seals.
  6. Is there a name on that locomotive? I can't tell on my work PC screen. Would love to know the history of that unit and what may have happened.
  7. It will tell me a part number, but that's about it. I could try cross references and such, but that's nothing set in stone.
  8. Pretty common here in NC, especially on heavy dumps and cement mixers. ST Wooten has a lot of mixers using that design, I'm staring at one now.
  9. I never understood the celebrity worship thing. Sure, there's actors (mostly voice actors) that I admire for their work, and would love to meet, but that's as far as I take it. They wouldn't actually care about me, I'm just one fan out of thousands if not millions, just a drop in the bucket. As for TV, I haven't actually watched it in years. The internet allows me to put a pirate hat on and sail the seven seas, so why would I pay these greedy corporations for something their current management had no hand in?
  10. Noted, I'll keep that in my mind!
  11. The first two numbers supersede to the same 85105666 number, last supersedes to 25625091.
  12. Number I gave was for the rears, let me grab the front ones real quick.
  13. Old number 14QK2107, new number 85105666 which is available for order. They look like they're a Monroe 66891.
  14. I love the sound of those EMD diesels, especially the 16-645 in the SD40-2 series. I do love the roots-blown motors too, sounds like a beefy tractor.
  15. That harness very much so is unavailable nationwide. There is a single dealer showing one: Gabrielli Truck in Bloomsbury, NJ; I'd call them and see if you can buy it from them. Other than that, a VOR order using your VIN is your only way to get one.
  16. That's another part of the modern ad-pocalypse; Youtube used to not show ads on non-monetized accounts, but somewhere along the line that changed. Look up a car repair tutorial made by an account that clearly isn't big or popular enough to be monetized? Ads out the wazoo. Guntuber posts a video about shooting machine guns and isn't monetized because of such? Ads out the wazoo. But neither one of them make a penny off the viewer having to sit through 3 minutes worth of ads for potentially 2 minutes of video. Don't get me started on streaming services forcing ads now.
  17. I'd have to have either the part number or your VIN to see if I have a lead on the harness.
  18. I do want to clarify, that will only help if the harness is taking on oil from the oil pan plug, we've seen the same problem up at the valve cover where the injector harness plug is. Our solution as a dealer was to replace the whole harness in that case, due to the amount of oil that contaminated it.
  19. There's an FSB out there about using an anti-wicking pigtail to keep oil from entering the harness from the oil level/temp sensor in the pan. The bulletin states you shouldn't need to re place the harness, but that depends on if there was any damage caused by the oil intrusion. Here's that bulletin; the pigtail kit is available. 20. I run uBlock Origin on any desktop that allows me to: PC at home and at work. Blocks Youtube ads, blocks Disney ads, I haven't had any ads escape past it. I can't stand the modern era of cramming ads down your throat, it's so dystopian in nature it almost makes my skin crawl. Not to mention when ads start showing junk that shouldn't be in public view if you catch what I mean.
  21. They sold a lot of obsolete parts to a company called Lippert, but it's very spotty what they have.
  22. But hey, in order for me to get a CDL, I have to either take a lot of time off work, or not have weekends for several months. Surely this keeps bad drivers from ever getting a CDL, right?
  23. Sales figures probably has a lot to do with it, we somewhat purge old inventory when we have a chance.
  24. The part number for 105 is 25115926, any dealer should be able to get that for you EASILY. and if they can't, I would recommend giving their manager a shout and telling him. This is stupid easy to order, they don't even have to look it up! The drag link is 13QC45BP28, it's been obsoleted from Mack, and PAI seems to have given up on it as well. Not sure where else to look other than having one custom made.
  25. Best number I could find for the LH steering gear is 8148-M100PPJ3R, Mack has them in stock. It's a reman Sheppard.
