  2. They get many requests so be patient. You will eventually hear from them.
  3. Hey Denny, you better invite the local authorities to next year's meet or we will all get citations for driving on a road the DOES NOT ALLOW TRUCKS! FYI, Denny and his lovely wife had enough food for 20 people. I don't think anyone went home hungry! BTW, I like my burgers and dogs crisp!
  4. And some more pics.
  5. Some more pics.
  6. Okay, here are some pics of the trucks with their owners. Great time!! Denny (DCR) is the guy in front of the CH with a smile from ear to ear!
  7. Excellent event today despite the light rain and cold temperature, eight (8) Macks including Denny's two (2) (2-MHs, 2-Bs, F, RW, CH, and R) were parked in his drive. I am sure his neighbors were wondering what in the heck was happening with all these BIG toys. Denny and his wife were the BEST hosts and the food was GREAT too! BMT members attending were Freightrain, 75T, DCR and farmer52 (total of 11 people attended). Hopefully we persuaded a few others to join in the BMT "fun". We talked about another show/meet again next year (probably late October after Gerhart's). I will post some pics later.
  8. Only three (3) days until DCR's (Denny's) show in Hubbard, OH. Forecast is for a few showers and high in the low 50s. If the "spudmobile" starts I will be there!
  9. The hinges or the headlights? Either way I agree!
  10. I set my cruise at 65mph and pass most of the trucks. The only vehicles I do not pass are the trucks going 80mph+ and most four wheelers. The only way to get more truck traffic on the turnpike (in my opinion) is to lower the tolls. When the speed limit was 65mph, the highway patrol never stopped anyone unless they were going over 80mph. Now they probably don't stop anyone unless they are going over 85mph. And the food on both the OH and PA turnpikes is "worthless". Bring back the old HoJos sit down restaurants that used to be on the PA turnpike.
  11. They raised the speed limit to 70mph to get more trucks on the turnpike and off the state routes. Now they raise the tolls. Makes sense to me.
