  2. Happy Birthday OD hope your day was Just Ducky!! QUACK QUACK
  3. Nice I love them old Trucks like that. It was hard to tell the year especially with the square headlights. Towards the end of 78 they started changing to the squares instead of the rounds. Also the 78 year trucks tended to not rust out as fast or as bad as the 79s. Lol
  4. I like the Ford pickup in the background as well. Is that a 79 f150?
  5. Yes Sir that's how I was able to get my CDL. I went to a Vocational trade school here in Ohio my Junior and senior year of school. Instead of paying almost 6,000 dollars to go to their Driving School I only had to pay about 95 bucks for a Drug test to be able to use the school's truck and also paid for my test. I had to take er twice and the school paid for the first test. I took Construction Equipment Operations and learned how to efficiently run alot of equipment and Drive truck. Wouldn't change it for Nothing. Infact sometimes I wish I could go back to them days lol.
  6. I'd go with the dual set upwards.
  7. I have a radar when it comes to Cabovers!! I see them then have to clean my slobber of my steering wheel
  8. I love that International Cabover as well!!
  9. That'd be a nice candidate for a Sleeper Rig.
  10. Yeah it's pretty butchered they replaced the dash with the Chevy pickup dash. The bed isn't mounted very well. It'd be one I'd save the cab and bunk, build a road tractor, and scrap the rest.
  11. Had that pop up on my Google feed too. It's forsale on Facebook Marketplace for 9,500.
  12. I will be delivering a load of Hay to Green Cove Springs Florida next weekend.
  13. This is my Grandpa on his 1946 Harley "74". O would so love to have one just like it sitting in my garage.
  14. I never heard of the diesel brother's. I can understand modifying a Semi for heavy loads but doing it to a diesel pickup just for the sake of Showing off is just madness. Right after I got my F250 a kid in a Taco Bell parking lot asked me to roll coal. I just looked at him and said sorry I like my truck just the way it is and I'm no UNOH Kid which is The University of Northwest Ohio which is our local College with all the fun programs like diesel mechanics and high performance motorsports stuff. It's one of the top Diesel colleges in the nation. The Diesel guys there are known for their jacked up Belt Buckle gang trucks with huge tail stacks and big rims with skinny tires and excessive coal rolling.
  15. Oh yeah I had one try to race me years ago and I was in my Peterbilt 379. It was a short bed extended cab dodge with them Bullhorn stacks in the bed lol. She puffed smoke at me and her anemic looking boy friend yelled out the window "Diesel Power" lol. Needless to say I wasn't loaded and dumped the clutch with the turbo boosted up like a NTPA pullers and smoked that Cummins with my 3406 cat lol. They pulled up next to me at the next traffic light and I couldn't resist hanging out the window and Yellin "DIESEL POWER BABY" Lol good times.
  16. I'll gladly use a machine but I'll be dead before I put my life in the Hands of a Machine just sayin'.
  17. Kids these days hahahaha gotta love it. Prolly runs around with those types that put soot out of the stack on a pickup truck under their eyes cause they think it's cool lol and that also do "burn outs" on gravel driveways. Or drop their beer cans down the stacks of the same truck and have the driver Rev er up to see how far the cans shoot up into the air......Roal that beautiful stupidity footage 🙄
  18. Yeah It's something to git used to. I'm just glad it still has the Stage Switch and the Jake actually does it's job lol. The brake leash is nice. I think on The Green Hornet it's called Cruise brake on the screen.
  19. I've known and seen some that needed those and not for style either. Been to some truck pulls and asked "Who let the animals out?? Or I didn't realize we were at a Livestock show!! I'm here to see the trucks pull the sled down the track!!
  20. The Green Hornet's MP8 has the power leash or Brake leash on it. It works really well. Basically if I set the cruise and flip the switch for the Jake's the brake leash allows me to set the speed at which the Jake's come on. So if I set the cruise at 70 I can set the brake leash for 72 and if the truck gits above that the Jake's kick in. Don't know if it's the same thing they're talking about though.
  21. If a truck Naturally smokes that's one thing but modifying a nice running diesel truck that is not a sled pulling truck etc then leave it alone and enjoy it like it was meant to be. Just sayin I own a 2001 Ford F250 Super Duty with a 7.3 PowerStroke and the only mods done to it is straight pipe from turbo back and a cold air intake k&n. Other than bigger tires and rims that's it.
  22. Oh my word how bout just leave your nice diesel truck just the way it is and be satisfied with it
  23. That sounds like Something Whistlin Diesel on Youtube would do. I'm not saying the Ratrod concept upsets me because I love "RatRods" done in good taste with a Rat Fink sticker on the door lol. This one to me was not in good taste. Of the pictures I've seen of your truck it's awesome 👌.
