  2. On a happier funny note " I'm currently standing in my shower at LOVES in Milan Michigan preparing to shave when AC/DC's Hells Bells intro hits on the Radio" hmm truckstop...100s of Trucks.....AC/DC.....HMM hope a 1977 WhiteWestern Star with a Goblin face doesn't decide to show up lol. Oh the things that enter one's mind lol.
  3. I forgot that most Ident tags were painted back then.
  4. As I told a buddy of mine " Always check for the Adam's apple before you kiss her"
  5. Yeah he passed about 8 years ago. The Keychain hangs from my mic keeper since I drive a Mack. I love old belt buckles
  6. I like the NTPA sled pulling and I love the Antique tractor pulls. I also love the over the road semis.
  7. I'll take Spuds Mckenzie anyday over that. I'll tell you ol' anheuser himself wouldn't be too happy
  8. I didn't think you were I was just putting out there so I didn't sound like those other kinda people. I took no offense. I myself enjoy sled pulling especially semis and I love the old style drag racing as well.
  9. I figured you would know or one of the other guys would.
  10. Maybe you could have a machine shop rivet it back on if possible? Also I would use Some Mother's mag aluminum polish on that tag. It will shine it up really good.
  11. They look like they could be sisters there OD lol
  12. So after my Grandpa passed away we cleaned out his house. I came across this Keychain. It has a knive on the right and a file on the left. I believe it came from the dealership when he bought one of his B models. If anyone has any other info please share.
  13. I'm sorry if it came across as if I was crying about the picture I posted I don't care what people do with their stuff. I was just giving my honest opinion on something that was up forsale and in my opinion was a waste of a truck especially one I'm kinda fond of. Now if I was into sled pulling or drag racing maybe my opinion would be alil different 🤔. But I neither have the time or money for such hobbies lol.
  14. Also I didn't see it up forsale before it got hacked into a Ratrod. To each there own.
  15. I don't think 2 strokes are the second coming. But I grew up hearing about the 318 or 8v71 from Grandpa as he drove a GMC cabover with one in it for Schwerman trucking back when they had a terminal here in Lima,Ohio. I'm kinda fond of them and do like the way they sound that and the old Cummins as well.
  16. Last week the guy I pay to mow my grass mowed for the first time this year already.
  17. Well that's how it works when you git blessed with a Show Dog Company truck lol. Maybe one of these days I will have my own but for now I'm satisfied with my company truck.
  18. This year I will be Entering The Green Hornet in the Annual Memorial Day Parade in Lafayette, Ohio. This will be the first time I will hopefully be Adding a Name Plate on the front of the Truck in Memory of my Grandparents. It will say The Green Hornet in yellow and have a picture of my Grandfather with his Brockway at one end and my grandmother with the truck at the other. I know this may come across as Selfish but if anyone on here can perhaps Come and Show us Support I would like to extend the invitation. It would mean alot to me. Maybe make signs to hold up etc then maybe meet up afterwards. My Grandfather also Served in The United States Marines during the Korean War and was in Korea for 2 tours.
  19. I couldn't remember exactly who built it I remember my Grandpa and his Best Friend Opry singer Charlie Louvin talking about it.
  20. Our weather for this time of year is actually back on track here in Ohio. Take that Greta lol.
  21. Supposed to be in the 70's later this week here in Ohio
  22. Actually a guy just built the car and gave it to Johnny as a gift. Johnny and all involved had no idea he was building it.
  23. Yes the car was actually built for Johnny after the song came out. It's in a museum somewhere.
  24. That look on his face in that 2nd picture is priceless. Could be a Meme with the caption " Buddy we've worked really hard restoring this truck!!! Don't you dare pull out in front of me with your Prius!!!!"
