  1. The Sleeper just had The bigger bed in the bottom twin in the top bunk. Fridge ,work station desk with light ,space for a TV, and 3 closets. It was all really nice and nothing rattled like most plastic trucks lol. It was my home away from home.
  2. Was the same exact sleeper cab. Coronado just had the long hood. Its actually called a Century Coronado on the manufacturing plate
  3. I loved my 14.0L. 515 horse from the factory and mine would boost almost 50psi on the boost gauge. Truck would flat fly down the road even fully loaded. It was in a 2006 Freightliner Coronado. We timed it once on a 16mile stretch and covered it in less than ten minutes. Truck was named Can't Touch This. Another thing that caused her to run wonky was the Air compressor was going bad. Sure miss that ol'big wheel sports car.
  4. Had that happen to a 14.0L Detroit and it ended up being the EGR .
  5. Early fiber optics. Peterbilt did the exact same thing in the 379s
  6. I agree with Licensed to Kill on this one. Even if someone gives alil attitude it's still would be no reason for me to pull out a gun on them. I live in the country and I don't like people snooping around my land but I ain't gonna pull my 12ga on them just for Stopping and asking a question and giving me alil attitude in the process. Best bet would be to post No trespassing signs along with Not for sale signs etc. And yes I have a reputation with our local law enforcement as well on how I conduct myself when it comes to my property and my parents property etc. Cops I don't have a clue who they are all know me.
  7. I delivered lumber up to J&J Log and Lumber in Dover Plains,New York for almost 4years. Them Upstate new Yorkers always never ceased to amaze me at their pronunciation of words or the way they did things. Beautiful country up there and they have almost as many horse farms as Kentucky. You should see the Horse Coaches for those high dollar horses. They are better than most houses.
  8. Oh yeah and then you have the Upstate Nu yawkas that eat their pizza folded and pronounce The Town of Yonkers NY as Yonkas lol
  9. You can always tell where people are from lol I l love to take a walk in the Park.... Not a Wak in Da pak lol gotta have that genuine accent to say it right hahahaha 😆 😂 🤣
  10. My 2015 Mack CHU613 Pinnacle just had an issue with the fan not shutting off due to some wiring issues. Mechanic fixed it and she got her power back. You'd be surprised how much an engine fan running all the time effects the motors power. Plus it made the truck super loud and when taking her up to 1800 rpm to shift she'd sound like she had a boost leak. Sure am glad she's fixed now though
  11. Hmm I would say that psi wouldn't be uncommon for a big V8. I had a 515hp Detroit 60's series in my 2005 Freightliner Coronado that would push almost 50psi at times under a pull. Sounded like a 747 gittin ready for take off when you fired her up lol.
  12. We had negative 35 with the wind chill here last Thursday and Friday in Ohio.
  13. My Grandpa had to build an Engine Stand from Scratch to hold the engine from his Brockway. It rotated the engine 360 degrees. He had his friend that owned the local Junk yard called Army's here in Lima,Ohio bring over his Engine picker machine to git the motor out. He had to replace the camshaft I believe is what he told me. After he died I found that same stand sitting in the weeds by his property line and it was still in use able shape. But wouldn't you know that Someone had more energy than me I guess and stole it.
  14. I'll take any of those trucks but forget the Girls. The trucks look better without them. Just my opinion
  15. Throw the Chick out and I'll take the truck thank you 😊
  16. Don't forgot the famous "I'm going to Water your grave!!!" Line either. Currently heading to West Virginia for Christmas with family 👪
  17. Yeah it helps with Modulation. The metal on the truck scrambles the radio waves.
  18. Yeah in my 15yrs out here in the road I marvel at some of my fellow drivers that are older than me by almost 20yrs and come ask me how to tie down loads on a flatbed or drag tires because they are too impatient to let the air build on a spread axle flatbed etc. Or can't wait five minutes at a Shipper or receiver before they are calling the Dispatcher lol. We had a guy the other day tell our mechanic that he points his Mirror mounted CB antennas forward not just for better reception but he doesn't want to be over 13'6 lol 😆 😉 😜
  19. I'd love to have A B model in that condition sitting in my driveway
  20. I also Recall from my childhood days Preston had some R model Mack's as well.
  21. Here's a new Piece of Mack history I learned of while researching here a few minutes ago.
  22. I never seen one of these only the regular Single axle R models and maybe the terminal here in Lima,Ohio had acouple U models also Single axle I believe
  23. I remember when Roadway had R models i don't remember Yellow having any Mack's. I remember Overnight having them as well. That was the early 90's.
  24. Oh yeah I know what they are. I've got a buddy his CB handle is Chicken Troy. At one time he had 112 on his truck and 120 on his trailer. One night he walked in to the 76 truckstop in North Baltimore, Ohio with his sunglasses still on and it was dark outside hahahaha 😆 😂 😅
