  1. I've got my eye on an R model Mack with a flat top bunk down in West Virginia
  2. Boy I wish she were mine. But my boss let's me treat her like she is. Maybe one day I will have a rig of my own........
  3. Just an Update I will not be driving The Green Hornet in the Parade this year 😢 😞 . She's going to be down for awhile. But when I do git her back She will have a new radiator, Air Compressor, All 13 gears in the transmission, and a New drivers seat!!!. I'm hoping I can talk them into putting 10 led Chicken lights on her as well 🙏 😋.
  4. No She blew apart. Truck had to be towed to the shop. She's gonna be down for awhile
  5. Well The Green Hornet Did me dirty Thursday and decided to blow the guts of her Air Compressor out then Started Spewing Motor. Got down to 20lbs of oil pressure and the secondary air tank was down to 50lbs.
  6. Well it is on new York so they tend to graffiti trucks instead of taking decals off. I'd love to have the whole rig. Would be a great candidate for a Super liner version of the Rubber Duck truck Quack Quack
  7. That is one Nice Unit!!! I'd throw a nice bunk on the back and acouple stacks and drive the wheels off if I had it Quack Quack.
  8. Or My Grandmother may have gotten it for him. I wish they were still around so I could ask them 😔 and also show them the pretty Mack truck I drive now and take my Grandpa with me on one more run. 😔
  9. That's Awesome i appreciate you taking the time to find those. I figure my Grandpa must've got it when he bought one of his b models. It would've been around that Era of time.
  10. Back in 2008 I was on my way to Dover Plains New York and blew a inside drive tire on the rear drive Axle passenger side. The Gator slapped so hard it put a dent in the back of my half fender. Well in the process of departure it took out an air line for my suspension on my flatbed. As I climbed underneath to see if I could find the leak and fix it the suspension started dropping. Not only did the inside tire on the front Axle drivers side blow before I got under the trailer the opposite inside tire blew as I climbed out from underneath the trailer. Only thing between me and that tire was the mud flap.
  11. I've always hated Recaps. I remember back in 2007 when tire manufacturers were having production issues even with virgin tires. The Garbage company I worked for at the time had just put a brand new set of 8 drives on a truck. He wasn't loaded thank God because about 2miles down the road all 8 let loose of their treads at the same time.
  12. Happy Birthday Joey Hope your day is just Ducky Quack Quack
  13. I'm OFF Every day I just show up for work hahaha 😆 😂 😅 Quack Quack
  14. I'd like to see the sleeper for it as well.
  15. About 3yrs after I graduated I thought I wanted to go to college to be a diesel mechanic. We have The University of North West Ohio here in Lima,Ohio which is one of the top schools for Diesel mechanics in The Nation. Well after one session which my first class was Transportation Refrigeration Heating and Air Conditioning I was done with that mess. I figured we'd be working on Thermo King Units and Diagnosing heat and a/C issues on Semis etc. since the class was named as it was. Well I was wrong and disappointed. While being in the same build as the Ag class and watching them work on combines and tractors Here I was working on a teachers donor car fixing the a/C. Boy what a let down and I got dirty looks from my teacher when I asked and voiced my opinion about the let down of the class. Then when the session was over my teacher looked at me and said "Well Mr.Lyle I just hope you're not making a mistake in life by not coming back" to which I replied "Well I figure I'm not making a mistake by choosing to go to work instead of continuing with College" and I walked out. Boy I tell you the experience I've gained by just being a truck driver and helping work on these trucks and asking questions over these past 17yrs I believe has taught me more than I could ever learn in a classroom and I've enjoyed doing it plus I've gotten paid while doing it as well 😀 😊 🙂.
  16. Yup yup Paul at The Vocational school I went to here in Ohio Apollo Career Center It was my Junior and Senior years of Highschool. We had our regular classes and our Vocational labs. I took Construction Equipment Technology and did my CDL as an Independent Study my Senior year at the age of 18. We had a daycab Ford L8000 and step deck Equipment trailer with ramps. Yes Apollo has a truck driving school but I couldn't see spending 4-6grand after graduating when I had the opportunity while in school and it only cost me 98 bucks for the test and 14 bucks for a drug test kit so I could use the truck and trailer. Also I had to set up the driving course everyday out back of our lab building to practice maneuverability parts of the test etc. Looking back I'm so glad i did it.
  17. It's funny that back when I was in school people had the misconception about Vocational Schools. They thought it was for kids that couldn't handle regular Highschool. My Brother who is 3 yrs older than me thought the same thing. Then he saw the jobs and money I made after graduating from Vocational School. Yeah his Preception changed real quick. 17yrs later and I'm still doing what I studied for in Vocational School.
  18. Glad I could be of annoyance.....lol....I mean Service QUACK QUACK
  19. Actually I've been pulling a step deck for the past few weeks so I'm lower to the ground strapping down. It's been cracking in that netting part for the past couple days and today it finally cracked all the way around. Being 6'5 340lbs I don't have to lean on the bar so much lol.
  20. Broke thus today strapping down a load of Shingles hahahahaha.
