Oh I bet. Also had a buddy who while alil intoxicated got mad at a 5 speed he was trying to put in one of his Ford pickups. He slid it out from under the truck on the jack when it just decided to fall over. He then picked up said transmission and proceeded to throw it out the over head door of his shop.

Yeah good thing is the tank was empty when it was stored in there. And haven't really had any mice issues in my Garage

My Grandpa changed a transmission in a 1940 Ford Coupe in his garage without a Transmission jack and no creeper lol

I always wanted to build a nice shed outside the house and get one of those Caterpillar or Detroit Generators and have it wired into the house just so I would be able to say "My house is Diesel powered when the power goes out" lol

Mine just sits in the back of my garage with the hook up cord rolled up on top of it. I guess it's there of I ever need it lol

I inherited a generator from My Grandpa that he got for free back when Ohio got hit by an ice storm. They were giving out vouchers for A free generator at our local Sam's club. My Grandpa just missed gittin a voucher when an old friend if his saw him and told him " Here have my voucher I've already got a generator at home". He had his electrician buddy Sparky come over an wire it into the house fuse box and we were able to power about half the house for up to 8 or 9 hrs on a tank of gas. Thank God I haven't had to use it since.

I looked closely at the truck the other day and it is Infact an Alnye truck

Yeah my Grandfather said I was born in the wrong Era lol Can't help it I guess lol

I just turned 35 and celebrated 9 yrs of marriage the day before my birthday. I've been driving 16yrs. Let's see got hit in the back of the head by a toter trash can lifter at 19,fell out of the side of a box truck face first basically my head fell 10ft face first at 21,acouple truck accidents in the beginning of my 30s the last one about 4yrs ago a guy decided to commit suicide by hitting my dump truck basically head on. I've got a bad knee thanks to the plastic dash coming apart and cutting up my knee and doing some internal damage to it. Yeah been a crazy ride but every time I climb behind the wheel It still feels like it's my first time and I can't help but just smile. I've ran hard,drove when I prolly should've parked it,and warn myself out on the road. Once led a Convoy of 25 other trucks across 80 in Pennsylvania in a snow storm from the 16 yard stick up to the 120 exit into the Sapp Brothers truck stop safe for the night. Yeah prolly more stories to come the older I git but for now it sure has been alotta fun 😀

Sounds about like the time a company I drove for put another driver in my assigned truck which had a Eaton fuller Super 10 tranny in it. Yeah I reported for work later that same day only to be told I was in a spare truck because the tranny in mine got damaged. Lol 😆 🤣 Driver basically blew the gear to gear selector lol 😆 😂 🤣 .

Hmm wonder if they pulled tankers with it at some point. I've seen alot of tanker yankers with a fifth wheel mounted like that.

I got to see him in action in Fort Recovery,Ohio and at the Allen County Fair In my home town of Lima,Ohio!! Even got to sit In Buckeye Bulldog once.

I drove a 1992 Peterbilt 379 with a 60 series Detroit with a 15spd deep reduction behind it Also drove an 1986 GMC General with a Cummins and a Glorified reversed 16spd Eaton fuller. Two of the best trucks I drove hauling logs outta the woods
