He's a military vehicle restorer/broker, he mainly sells ex military wreckers and trailers. Ah it's good to have a dream, Things happen though, A former Long Islander bought a WWII Sherman dozer tank for $10.70 in 1975 or 76. It was at the former Pilgrim State Mental Hospital here. Pushed coal around til it broke in the late 60's and the hospital dug a hole and pushed it in. It now live at the American Armor Museum in Virginia. AAAH maybe when I become president I'll get one.......... Paul

  3. Un armored $45,000.00 opening bid and reserve of $165,000.00 . It's worth it, but need rubber, which will run $900.00 each times 18, and 18 tubes and liners. All done you got a $200,000.00 plus investment. Just one of those things I've been stuck on with since I was a kid and Jacobsons ship yard in Oyster Bay L.I. had one I played on in the mid 50's. Paul

  8. Yeah, he seems to be okay. Chopped..sounds cool, it will still look like a Mack. Late model drive train..long as it's volvo. Me I'd plop the cab on a late Mack chassis and power pack and invest the time and coin in the body, paint and chrome. At least it's not scrapped and its good that he has an interest it. Who knows maybe the next will be a stocker. Good luck . Paul
  9. After exhausting all the local suppliers and a few no so local ones , I come to the master for advise. :notworthy: :notworthy: I need 16 AWG Female high temp flag connectors. They need to be the steel 900 degree sustained heat connectors not trhe copper alloy 650 degree ones. Figured it would be relatively easy to find since they are used in lighting, ovens and other high temp applications. But noooooo! Any ideas?

  15. I don't see how a parent taking care of a disabled adult chid on Medicaid is apart of the SEIU. If I missed something in the article how the SEIU and the parents had any type of union contract, please pointed it out.I never realized that the SEIU created and controlled those programs. Under those rules I owe the SEIU or CSEA a ton of money for taking care of my parent in their last years. Paul

I will say this, whom ever is pulling the strings be it Accorn or the potus...they are following the WWII play book to the letter. Blame a group for their problems: Israel and the jewish population, Kristal nacht...a minor one in San Fransisco. I wait to see their retaliation against the neighborhood shop owners and what Blumberg and Kelly do. Paul
