  1. Today was that day: There was also a DM cab at the same place:
  2. Thanks, fellers! Everyone gets the same (gratuitous) appreciation from me - no matter how many topics you have running.
  3. Mid to late 80's would be old school, right? Sorry ~ I'm not up to snuff with the new stuff.
  4. I'm a firm believer in this stuff: Nitro-Stan Red Glazing Putty Probably the same "icing" that's mentioned above.
  5. Had to make a run to the welding shop for steel on Tuesday and saw a CH "farm truck" : The bed in the background belongs to a red R: Just up the road was this 98,000 mile '89 R model which is for sale @ $12,500 No U models, but I saw a forklift with an offset cab:
  6. R.I.P. Mr. Jones. One of my latest favorites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyRLTzdEv_k
  7. Steve Tice He's leased to TC Transport in Bellefonte, PA I might be able to get his number for you.
  8. Here's another one fairly close to me: http://pennstate.craigslist.org/grd/3708621968.html
  9. Spied what's left of this Superliner wrecker on Thursday: I'll try to get better pictures if I get back that way again. Can't forget this one :
  10. The trucks look great....... and the Wheel Horse looks even better! Is it a 1056?
  11. This was my original post containing the contact information of the "seller" of the tanker: http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/22474-1983-superliner-3500gal-tanker-ex-firetruck-e9-440-36k-original-miles/
  12. This one belongs to a local excavating company: This one was for sale a little while ago: "Superliner row" at Gerhart's: One more from Gerhart's:
  13. Thought so...... I was a "shifter" for Davidson Brothers from 1988 to 1996 and got to see Con Lime a few hundred times myself. I certainly don't miss trying to get up there - or back down - in the winter.
  14. Perhaps you've already figured this out, but that's my group on Yahoo. The guy that bought that W (in 2005) is Don Shute. He's from Touchet, WA and I haven't heard or seen any updates from him since those posts on the group. Here's two more pics of that truck:
  15. Clickless & fixed: I think I remember seeing that truck (and a few others from the TJM fleet) loading ground limestone (or "pin head" as they called it at the plant) at Con Lime near Bellefonte, PA.
  16. Nice truckin' pics, Leslie! 554 out of Williamsport, right? RT 445 ~ a.k.a. Madisonburg Mountain. I never even liked to bobtail across there! LOL

You only get pop-up notifications if you have it set that way. To change, click on the "down arrow" beside your user name at the top right of the page, and select "my settings" from the drop-down menu. Select "Notification Options" from the tabs on the left side of the page. Scroll down to "Private Messages" and click the box beside "Show inline pop-up when I have new personal messages (latest will be shown)" if it does not have a check mark.
  18. We just went round-for-round on this same subject at another forum. People should be worrying about satellites and that pesky Google car that take pictures of all the cool stuff in your yard - not images of trucks on a public website.
  19. Is that the one from Kylertown? 237 / duplex / single axle ?
  20. I heard a back-up alarm and a diesel engine running out in front of my house..... Look what I found: The trees got in the way of it's departure, but I still caught the smoke!
  21. Is she pretending the fender is a fun house mirror - or is she relieving herself into the floor drain?
  22. Found this pic on the internet & can't come up with any info. Does anyone recognize it?
  23. The green F parked under the van trailer is about all you'll see unless you're really looking. The others are either facing away from the road or in some pretty thick brush. A call to my friend confirmed they are all still there as of earlier this month. The Macks that were over around the garage are apparently gone. I vaguely remember two F models - possibly black with stripes - being parked sideways in front of the garage. They were also rough/rusty with singled-out drive tires, etc. If you use the street view on Google maps you can see the green F model, but that might be from a year or two ago.
