Rooting around through some old discs & found this:

Almost forgot this re-Paint....... "Barry's" R model hot rod ~ "cartoon engine" removed, hood stretched to R-700 length, old-style grille, big bumper/no guard, and generally "cleaned up" :

Vinny's recent post of his drawings prompted me to do some digging in the closet. Looking back over 30 years revealed some rather hilarious attempts at drawing things that resemble trucks and a few that I'm moderately proud of. From 1980..... when I was 11 years old: Not more than a few years later: Fast forward to 1996: A "T-T" bike from about the same time period: An incomplete extended-hood Superliner heavy-hauler (1750hp of 3416 DITA Cat power?): There's also a few MS Paint "drawings" from the 'puter age: Pro Street '72 Ford F-100: I also drew this "hot rod" Wheel Horse........ and when a few of the guys at the Wheel Horse forum saw it, they coaxed me into building it for real: Feel free to dust off your old drawings & get them up here for the rest of us to see!

Nice work, Vinny. I have a folder full of pencil drawings. If I can find it I might just scan & post a few too.

I viewed it full-screen / frame-by-frame and it's definitely a Mack 6 cylinder. Not sure exactly what Mack 6 cylinder though...... almost looks like a "237" to me.

Never saw the movie, but I might have to look for it now. Sounds like V8 Detroit power...... but you can't always trust Hollywood.

On the rare occasion I make it to the WalMart, I only use the credit card from work or my debit/credit card. My favorite is signing strange names like "Peter Goesinya" or "Iva Biggun". I always get the "signature accepted" when I'm done, no matter what I write.

I had to do a considerable amount of looking to find something worth posting. (not plastic) These are closer to the early 50's Ford emblems but might look decent on a V8 Mack: V8 emblems on eBay
