I have to apologise. The Owners decided to keep it for a parts truck. They spent more on it than needed, and will part it out into thier fleet. I will do better next time.. jojo

My power manual.com... I have 5 or so downloads from them at less than $50.00.... I will be using one tomorrow. I have 3 John Deere 3cyl. diesel's to build. I got the download for $35.00.. Joey

Ok. I will try to get a video tomorrow on my lunch brake. This engine runs good and doesnt smoke. I have replaced the exh. manifold, water pump, fan clutch, (viscous), steering pump gasket, cleaned overboard breather, installed with new gasket, i removed the oil cooler and oil filter pad and cleaned all, and installed new o-rings and gaskets, the oil cooler was not leaking internally. I flushed the cooling system, and installed a new thermostat . Everything i did was dissassembled, buffed clean and painted with Mack Gray Eng. Paint.. This is not "Lipstick on a Pig". the paint looks good, and since iv'e been driving the truck around the yard and running it up to temp. It is not leaking any more. I also replaced the engine wire harness with a new one from Mack, and there are NO codes present.. I did not pull the E.U.P.'s because they were not leaking. there were no 8-? codes before i did the work. The company I'm doing this for was going to stretch it and build a water truck. This truck is a CH-612, but had a backhalf put on it from an International and made it into a twin screw dump truck.. I found another 'WHOLE' CH-613 for cheap money, and they decided to use the new Mack and Either keep this Frankenstien truck for parts, or sell the good engine and tranny to recoop the cost of the truck plus my work. The tranny is an Eaton, FRO15210C. The P.T.O. is off of it. the clutch doesn't look old. there is some oil in the flywheel housing. I dont know if the rear main is leaking, or it's left over from a leak. My guess is... it needs a rear main seal.... bare with me on getting a video and pics.. I'm very busy.. Jojo

How do you feel about an early E-Tech, 300 that runs great and Has a boat load of new parts attached. I was building a water truck for job sites, and did a bunch to the outside of the engine to stop leaks. I can try to send you a video of it. Jojo

on march 25 I posted the oil flow diagram.. Is that what you need?

most of my local gas stations were empty, on Saturday. I did'nt go anywhere (Today) Sunday.. I drive my diesel service truck tomorrow. Hope I can find diesel. we ran out of that too.. of course I didn't call the 3 truck stops near me, either... Who know's..... mabey we wake up tomorrow, and it was all a bad dream?? Joey

ok Carlos.... I did not know about the lack of resources... Do the best you can. unfortunately, you have a truck that requires computers as much as it requires wrenches and know how....i will respectfully step back and I hope another will step in to guide you.. Jojo

well Carlos, if you have the money and the tools to take a stab at the problem, more power to you.... I'm a diagnostic guy, I want to know why and what fixed it... Jojo

you can make your own test tool, with an old fuel line Banjo fitting and enough clear hose to reach the fuel tank fill cap. Have some new copper washers handy, for when you go back together.. Thanks for the compliment, but I'm getting rusty on MP's and the new ones are beyond my knowledge.. Go Bulldog!

that list is so true, along with racial issues, and high unemployment, too much free money for slackers, bussiness's closing down, major retailers consuming more small bussiness's, ammunition is high as hell, (if you can find any), scammers have doubled down on scamming, and White People are all racist's... I'm sure there's more.. Jojo

find the ground wire at the fan harness, cut into it and run it to a switch in the dash. the old timey way... or mabey find the fuse and put it on switch.... or..... wait for a few more comments. jojo

The speedo from the '01 needs the V.E.C.U. to operate... I would expect it won't work. ,what does the back of the '89 speedo look like, I havent seen one in a while, so i'm forgetting.. there should be 10 dip switches, its the plug i'm forgetting.

ok.. cool. i wonder if you have a diode in that switch,,, also, are the screws stamped with any abbreviations at the poles? catch you later..

the wires arent plugged onto the engine brake celenoid plug on the valve cover spacer.??? also, does the switch on the pump have 3 screws but only 2 wires? is there a pic of the pump linkage and the wires that go to the valve cover?

yes... the bottom edge of the cab tilts back out of the way of the bumper. when you say LR, do you mean MR? if so.... yes it tilts..

i just came out of my shop. was working on my '48... just pickin, but it's running much better... first time i could touch it in 5 weeks. too busy with customers, not a bad thing...👍
