  1. ive have v8s ive driven a few 6cyl but never owend one, so my next project i think is going to be a 6, i think im going to try a single axle tractor with a 3 axle trailer, would like to use an r model mybe an ch, so my question would be what are good years for for hot roding a 6 for power and fuel mpg, prefer a mech, over elec, thanks

  7. thanks for the info, trying to mount on the superliner, making most of this stuff from scratch, cant get the orig parts from mack for a daul air set up.

  10. bousch pump open all the way, next size up injectors, repair exhaust manifold, a john deer turbo, number 8 fuel lines to the pump. thats all.

  12. just had a tune up at antrims to day, 875 at the crank 700 to the ground at 1750rpm , 2529 ftlb at 1300rpm, 35 lbs boost, should pull some freight, hey now.
  13. have a e9 at antrim diesel, and just wondering who else in the north east is good with the e9s i know about dale francis in OH. just looking so if something happens on the road i have an idea where to go thank,
  14. a fellow on the south side of myerstown pa had 2 or 3 for hauling milk in the 1980s no idea where they went. they were green.

  17. here is a rl700l that use to sit in corunna indiana. stoped about 5 yaers ago he wanted 10000 for it had a v8 then next time i went back it was sold.
  18. if im not mistaken running in direct your not spining the counter shafts, right now i run in 17th 60mph at 1500. would like to get into direct at 60 and go to full lockers, we hall electronics from wi to east coast and have to have airide we deliver in to job sites and all ways stuck. when fuel was 1.10 a gal i'd run 70 all the time, just trying to save fuel and keep my v8. thanks

  21. just wondering if any one knows the where abouts of a dodge coe from somerset pa i think the name was hearm trucking. talked with him one knight at harrisburg pa, years ago looing for a dodge coe. thanks
  22. thats kinda what im thinking, ive even thought about going to someone elses diffs a 3.08 rear thats a little over 1500 at 60 i direct, currently ive got 3.65 but if i can stop spining the counter shafts in the trany it should help. if i pull a load of steel with a tarp job and stay around 75 to 80000 im at 6.2 6.3. if im empty 31000 im at 7.0 7.1 ish, i know this is a challenge with a v8 but i like my truck no dpf scr egr and its payed for ha. thanks
