  1. Volvo pushing into the construction market can only hurt Mack even further, especially when the Volvo/ Mack dealerships push Volvos. Once they get a firm foothold in the construction industry they may kick Mack to the curb. Watch out if Volvo ever builds a COE for the refuse industry. That would further hurt Mack. The Volvo agreement where they had to sell Autocar can't go on forever.
  2. Wonder what the turning radius is of that 8 legged cow.
  3. Did the e6 and e7 use the same block. I thought the e7 was just an increase in stroke over the e6 with a beefier bottom end.
  4. Looks like the cab tilt system(2x4) needs attention. 1986 no maybe 1966.
  5. I like the eight legged cow. Tri axle
  6. CTC looks good in any color. Thanks for posting
  7. They don't push the camel backs but I believe you can still get them on Granites. Does Mack offer Hendrickson suspensions. They should be rugged like camel backs.
  8. Hope the upcoming new Mack will offer the Cummins big bore as is offered in the Volvo.
  9. Seems like Mack had one of those centers in Allentown.
  10. FX: The new grill and flat fenders will be quite a change from the present pinnacle axle back. Looks like more of a change than say a 55 to a 56 chevy. May be more along the lines of a 56-57 chevy.
  11. Nice little B wrecker. That would look good with a shaker or Paccar in tow. That DM 800 is a beast.
  12. I often wondered what an R model would look like with a CH cab. As the boss said " I think we nailed it". Time will tell.
  13. I wonder if this will be just for the CX or CX and CH.
  14. Looks like the bold Mack letters are back on the grill.
  15. Maybe Cat should have built a truck on a Cat platform and skipped the IH linkage. There was no uniqueness there.
  16. Well done. Kick Paccars ass.
  17. Wish they ran Granites with those trailers out here in the east. Very few granite tractors in Ct. Eastern Mass has a quite a few.
  18. You may be right about that.
  19. BNSF and a contract to run Canadian shale oil to Louisiana keeping the pipe line shutdown during King Obamas reign.
  20. Gee in 1954 Mack could extend a B-61 hood for a Cummins. And do it in style I might add. In 2017 they can't extend a Pinnacle or Granite hood for a big bore engine. Go figure.
  21. Berkshire Hathaway(Warren Buffet) : Buy Mack.
  22. KS: As usual our opinions are different. The difference is my opinions are just that opinions from my perspective. Your opinions are more closely tied to facts.
  23. Too be fair Mack has six models--- Pinnacle AF and AB/Granite AF and AB/MR and LR. Rawhide isn't a model its a trim level. Still way behind Volvo/Paccar/Navistar/Freightliner and Western Star. A company that made every model under the sun and shipped them all over the world is now in last place as far as selection. Can't blame Volvo for every thing. Mack has been bleeding(divesting) for many years. Fire apparatus gone. Logging gone. Heavy off road gone. Heavy haul gone. Mid range gone. Signal bailed them out and dumped them. Renault kept them alive and dumped them. Volvo has turned them into an uncompetitive product on a Volvo chassis powered by a Volvo drive train. Sad for the long time loyal Mack users. Mack did it to themselves by not taking care of business way back when. On a minor brighter note- New model coming in the fall????
