  1. Hopefully Volvo won't screw this up like they did with the Titan.
  2. Those two engineers are going to have to be miracle workers. A new superliner with a cummins x15 option would be nice.
  3. Demoncrats will do/say anything to win.
  4. Nice Titan heavy haul. Way to not support and cancel. V@#$&/ A hoes.
  5. That's like the widest cab I have ever seen on a conventional. That cab over looks like it might have inspired the White 7000. Look at the window area.
  6. Super dog and a bride-can't beat that.
  7. ZDB 15 deg sounds about right for flat deck block with staggered cylinders.
  8. Was watching You tube today and I saw an engine block I never saw before. They had the head off of the engine and they were cleaning the cylinder combustion space with WD 40 and scotch brite pads. The cylinders were not arranged in an I6 or v6 fashion but were staggered in the same plane. Kind of like a compact version of an I6 and v6. The mechanic had a VW shirt on. Not sure if it was a VW engine. It was a real compact design.
  9. Any Anthems for storkmack?
  10. You know what belongs under the valve covers? Valve train components and nothing more.
  11. Yes you will see Cardi Macks running at 55 mph on the interstates and return home ever night without breaking a sweat.
  12. Would the original maxidyne have been better with another gear/ gears between fourth and fifth. I think the cummins high torque copy had seven gears. The original maxidyne died on the hills.
  13. What. No golden shovel or ribbon.
  14. More jobs for the crusher boys.
  15. Any back story why greyhound didn't go Mack. Who mkes greyhound buses now.
  16. Good point. Then how to you repurpose one of those curb sniffers. Old Macks could always be repurposed.
  17. Only Cummins in a Mack is for the MHD I believe.
  18. Nice looking Daimler/shaker tanker. Paccar strikes again.
  19. Saw in truck paper a rare MH-613 dump. 50 inch bbc/aluminum dump body/E-6 350/18,000 fronts/38,000 camelbacks/100,000 miles/35,000 dollars/. Quite pricey but definitely unique. May make a great farm truck
  20. Nice. Paccar killer no more.
  21. It has always been true that Mack was a rugged construction truck until maybe lately. The common current thought as Mack tries to get back into the over the road market is that Mack is not thought of as an over the road competitor. But that was not always the case. In the 40's thru the 80's. Mack was a very popular fleet truck. They probably had 20-40 percent at times of market share. L,H,B,R,U and F's were every where. Then along came the 90's with Renault, the close of the Mack west coast operations and the CH and vision and Mack over the road sales stalled. The CH never caught on with Roadway, Overnite and other former fleet operators . It seems as though the CH was kept alive by ABF and UPS. The CH and Vision were never thought of as classic big bore trucks. Thus they lost the west and the mountain states. The CH elite tried and failed to fill the bill. The period of the 90's and 2000's was a further nail in the coffin for Mack.
  22. Grayhair: Actually the poor guy has nothing positive to say about Mack going forward because maybe there is nothing to say. Paccar is kicking Mack's ass in construction and waste removal.
  23. You would be stylin in that RM but a little harder to turn around.
