We had several 80 ton rock trucks plus all the 6x6,s had auto,s , never had a problem, can,t you imagine the size of clutch disc you would need for something like that, The 1st cat scraper i ran was a DW31 with a 3 speed, boy that gave you a work out, i will take the powershift anyday

We had a few D21 ps, i liked them, The company that i was with for years use to cover alot of surry ponds, so they had alot of wide track dozers, The pyramid pads worked good in real soft spots but that was about it, you sure didn,t want to get them on frozen ground, but like i said we was covering surry with about 3 ft of dirt so that worked fine, We either did 2 thing, either mud or rocks as big as a dump truck

i have ran Dozers and other heavy equitment for yrs, everything from a D2 to a D 10 and everything in between, i always wanted to run the big iron, but the big iron usally had a ripper on the back for the big rock that you worked in Do that for a few yrs and your back will be destored like mine is, I ran a Komatsu 65 P wide track for a long time that i really liked and for a all alround dozer it was hard to beat, John Deere 450,s was a nice little dozer for messing around with, Hell i like them all even the old cable ones, Has anyone used a old pull pan that used cable,s from the dozer like the old cat 60 pan, thats what i got started on, you learned not to get the pan upside down with the cable warp around the hitch a few times

your garden is doing a lot better than mine, we replanted it once and still alot of stuff didn,t grow, its sad, i have never had a worse looking garden, this is from a guy that use to plant a couple of hundred arces of crops for yrs, i can,t grow sweet peas, it a 1st for me never having a sad looking mess as this

I took all of mine off too but i won,t put them back on, cooper tubing is like cooper wire that turns green and rots, i am putting plastic on and hopefully it will out last me, but thats just me

I will step in, i had one, good on fuel, not the most powerfull thing thu, yes renualt makes them and mack sold then, there is alot of them sitting for parts in junk yards anymore if you are in the right place, i liked my motor so much i still have it and the trany, the cab rusted off of mine, but that might of had to do with all of this salt and brine they pour on the roads around here anymore

Wow, the work would stop for sure when that driver pulled in, i would be ordering something for everyday of the week

i have alot that you need, i have a completet motor, trany, tail lights, complete inst. panel, you just live so far away or i would make you a deal on the lot

I know it is not a Mack but a little local fire department has a 37 ford firetruck up for sealed bid, i tought about it but i am sticking with jus buying John Deeres and Macks, i am getting to many of them, the old ford has a V-8 flathead and i am sure it runs, if anyone is interested i can get some pics, i know it is going like the 15th
