  1. Yep. One didn't know, the other one noticed the switch for the rears and assumed it was for the transmission.
  2. They didn't know what this was on a ten speed.
  3. Two of them. One didn't know what it was cause it had an acrylic knob and and old 3546. Then the other on figured the range valve was in the dash. (selector for the two speed rears) It was there for a shifting issue, guy said that was the problem, should never be that way, or even made with that set up in the first place . !!!! nothing at all to do with the engine brake staying on !!!! then he drove it again.... it was going in gear with the same enthusiasm as an 18 year old's pecker in a willing girlfriend. Looks at me and says " I don't see anything wrong " Then I was the @$$ hole for not let'n him drive it back. Need less to say, I ended up at another dealer 🤣
  4. Jo jo...... they call one with that stick a "shifter truck" and I've heard some interesting conversations about how the guy went home cause they wanted to put him in a shifter truck. I could tell you a really funny story about my Peterbilt at the dealer and the test drive debacle.
  5. Is that the new one from the picture ? or just another one same spec ? Either way, looks like a very expensive mishap , let alone it isn't doing any work for all this time. holy cow.... what a waste .
  6. They're not that bad (cost) if you break it down to cents per mile. You fix it now and freshen it up, it'll last for years. I've found on the trucks with a "C" cab (CH CL CT) it's worth the effort to get gas shocks for the cab and make sure the front cab mounts are in good shape. They're no air ride, but those trucks ride better than comes to mind. Especially if it has some nice fresh taper leafs in the front. and new springs in the back, you'll see an improvement you didn't even realize was missing over the time it took to wear out the ones you're replacing.
  7. Bob, looking at your Mack I can't figure out.... what was that truck before ? Doesn't look like it was a tractor.
  8. Dump work ?? do yourself a favor and just put new springs in. Longest way sometimes turns out to be the shortest .
  9. I agree with you, not the automatic or automated transmission's fault . It's the generation of consensus and no responsibility . The attitude that "you can't tell me" this has been coming a long time. I too would rather a manual transmission ( 6 and a 4 if you could still get them) at the same time I was happy some of my older friends were able to work longer because trucks became easier to drive.
  10. Usually when a spring doesn't have a lot of leaves they require shock absorbers . I know that definitely applies to tapper leaf, those IDK. Something to think about.
  11. Next thing will be the fruit will be in fear for it's life. Everyone'll be a bully ( is that still a thing ? ) and the fruit's anti depressants will have an adverse effect on the hormones..... it's gonna be a disaster . Then..... the book, and the movie. Never thought I'd ever (ever) think this, but what ever happened to the good old days of Bruce Jenner?
  12. Now don't sugar coat it... tell us how you really feel about them .
  13. F, a one inch hole saw made short work out of creating a peep hole in the KW so you could look up at the space between the bearing and brake.

They're probably hope'n for some of that chicken, or one of those other things OD is always cook'n
  16. On a brighter note, what I see there is a suspension that went the distance. Most have some other issues before reaching that point. You're doing something right.
  17. How about the truck needs two new springs and to be rebushed 😉
  18. Yeah.....kinda like when a child used to pretend they were whatever came to mind in the moment. Problem is, these people aren't 5.
  19. 🤷‍♂️
  20. Google it. They used to do that to them. Fancy little bow like things in the mane and braided tails....... you know, to pretty them up (wink wink) Personally, a clydesdale always reminded me of like an old DM 800 with 58s in it.
  21. Ya know ??? I almost remember those horses having braided tails and little bows in their manes .
  22. Almost looks like a shifter for a Monoshift in that one picture.
  23. Happy birthday. Must be April is a good month for birthdays 😎
  24. Mark says about a year ago the only mention of "tranny on this site was conversations about 12 speeds or swapping a Fuller into a Mack. Rueters'll never survey that though. WTF happened ?
  25. This one has me confused . Would that fall under (furrys) or (transgender) ? or is there transgender furrys ?
