  1. Newer trucks have them on that modular valve in the back. I could see acid for cleaning mixers killing those. Mack power dividers work pretty good.....when they're not worn out. Lots of them were worn long before making noises. Gotta remember some of these new trucks with traction control do things you wouldn't expect when you try things that worked 40 years ago. Like juacking one wheel end up and trying to make it spin with the engine . We won't get into how I stumbled on to this 🤣
  2. I'd have to imagine a Mack with no air lock (regular Mack power divider) would move the truck, but free wheel when it's not being powered by the engine output.
  3. I bet you posted this not even try'n to be funny. It's one of those things, it's funny cause it's true.
  4. See Jojo .....you needed help understanding your period. How you feel about tampon Tim now ?
  5. Yeah....look at them. That Willie guy said something about giving her a pearl necklace.....but nothing about pearl earings. This dumb @unt should be given an accademy award. A best supporting actor could go to the Tampax distributing running mate.
  6. My buddy's father went from an F Model to a Cruiseliner back @ 1980 . Only thing I knew at that point was it was cool. They're all a rare sight around these parts nowadays.
  7. I thought the Ultraliner was the MH. Cruiseliner replaced the F Model. Not sure, I think they were a WS ? (not sure on that) They shared a frame with the Superliner. Then the Ultraliner came after the Cruiseliner, and again shared a frame with the series two Superliner.
  8. 🤔 you sure that's not an EV
  9. This whole woke/progressive nonsense is a huge promotion of no one being responsible or accountable for there actions or lack there if. These low lines are capitalizing on that
  10. It's true Jojo. Trump missed a lot of opportunities there last night. Lots of BS and meanwhile...... it keeps costing all of us.
  11. You're not supposed to notice any of those things you mentioned.
  12. Almost 20 years......where'd they go ?
  13. 🤔 I wonder if anyone ever tried putting a Fuller isolator on a shift lever on a Mack transmission
  14. Paul, you have no idea the memories the Case brings to me. I actually have a picture on my desk under the glass surface of me when I was around 12 and I'm by a 1150 TC like that. You guys are still doing jobs with one. I love it.
  15. I think you're confusing the Ultraliner with the Cruiseliner.
  16. I had Elites. They had an "Elite" script in them. I got a couple after inventory at a dealer , and they weren't sure what they were. I think the CL700s came with a grill like in my avatar. That wasn't that truck's original grill.
  17. CL doesn't have that big script in the center. I had one went right in a '97 CH.
  18. Isn't that a CL grill ?
  19. 12/22.5s ? are you talking steer position or drive/trailer duals ? A 12/22.5 will go on an 8.25 / 22.5 wheel, you'll likely need a wider spacer if it's in a dual position. If it's a steer position ? Geoff's right. More to it than just a bigger tire to carry more weight without incident. Might look cool and all, but more weight takes more than a tire swap, unless someone already went backwards trying to save a few bucks on tires on a truck speced heavier.
  20. Don't forget, back when seals were like that lots of stuff we take for granted weren't around then. Some things could be retroed and some couldn't.
  21. Surprising they didn't ask how long she supported big mike
  22. Didn't Internationals have that funky horn on the front of the frame that was also where the spring attached ?
  23. Just a thought, but you say what a rarity that truck is there. I wonder if some component failed on it at some point, and someone didn't do a thorough cleaning cause of scarcity of parts, like gaskets and such. No way that piece made it through an engine and it still has 6 live holes.
  24. Geoff is correct. Some guys refer to the part that needs to be changes as "legs" Might not be an easy thing to find as most bulk carriers used a fixed mounting like that to shave off some weight, and pulling a high cube dry van wasn't really thought about. You do have some nice angles on the frame with lots of holes already though. Might be able to get a lower slider on there relatively easily. Just be careful a used one isn't too worn out. New assembly will be way cheaper than trailer roofs and maybe worse.
  25. And yes, lube those threads and contact area of nuts and washers. A little under the U bolt top won't hurt either. Then retorque after a few miles .
