  1. I've been thinking the same thing about the shape that truck is in. That must have been top of the line in '67....and somebody treated it that way.
  2. They're Qs in the picture, just remembering the once popular Propar stuff. Sorta rare sight now.
  3. Old Fruehauf, holy cow.. Propar, with the XEMs I feel old now Paul (TY)
  4. Sure it's not a quick release valve gone bad ? Pedal isn't sticking ? If it sat around, sometimes those bugs that make their house out of mud love doing it in air exhaust ports . Then stuff won't work because it doesn't exhaust.
  5. Maybe at this point someone makes some kinda cable assembly that would be relatively easy to retro. There's all sorts of things like that made nowadays .
  6. IDK, I noticed with it not working like it's supposed to, any bouncy situation telegraphs from your foot to the rack easier it seems. Almost like the puff limiter dampens it a little. Also a ridgid seat ( air seat with no air in it ) every little bump is amplified it seems.
  7. Is the puff limiter disabled by any chance ?
  8. exactly
  9. Seriously ? if this was hilary ? he'd be dead.
  10. I used to think boobs were the greatest thing ...... then as I got older I got my own and .....well. Hooters ....ehhh
  11. I thought I read Hooters was in financial distress. Better start feel'n better soon, or you might not get to one of those breasterants before it's too late. (sucks not feeling good, all kid'n aside hope you get better)
  12. He's perk'n right up , like his old self
  13. I don't see a shifter in that Anthem. Do the automated manuals ( or automatics ) work for you guys ?
  14. Yeah...... coinsidence
  15. Google Joan Rivers gay president
  16. Careful you guys. Remember what happened to Joan Rivers 😳
  17. That's the beauty of mat and resin. Can't really do a lot that can't be redone. Nothing beats using gravity to your advantage, but big areas can be a challenge until you get the general form where you want it.
  18. I have a brand new Remack on a skid for that truck. It's a brake engine . Yes, when I say new, I mean new, as if came from a dealer. Stored in heated garage and turned over periodically. Somebody's gonna get a sweetheart of a deal on this engine.
  19. Bob, sometimes (sometimes) those saggy ones if you plan it out can be held in place with 2" tape. From back at the part not being patched, and stretched tight across . It's not ideal and you end up grinding the tape off and usually redoing the mat and resin where the tape was. There's way less sliding off the 2" part though afterwards.
  20. They're the style for a Cat looks like
  21. Quite a road trip. Not many could do that, especially us guys from here. Thanks for all the pictures and descriptions of all you saw. I've said it before, but it's way different seeing pictures and such from a person with the same interests . Probably at least 90% of the things you posted I'd have otherwise never knew about.
  22. They're pretty close and even kinda sound the same.
  23. Now wait a minute.......we're gonna need way more pictures of that truck before rushing to any conclusions. Inside, outside, underneath. 😉 Truck looks to have a lot of potential, and us guys love pictures.
  24. That Volvo isn't too much different underneath than the Mack. Hope the new gig goes well for you.
  25. Doesn't seem to be fazing it too much. No matter .....60+ years and still hauling. Impressive.
