  1. Yeah, but look at that shiny unloader...All ready for show! Glad you solved the problem and the old girl is back in action
  2. Doug, thanks for all the hard work. You guys do a great job and we are all looking forward to another great show. Mark. I am pretty sure the Mack Factory store has the style patches you are looking for. You can find a nice hat and sew on the patch yourself. Just a thought See everyone at the show George
  3. Good job Ben! If that is all that is left to do we will see the truck at Mcungie, right? Just teasing. Keep the videos coming, pretty cool to watch the progress.
  4. Yeah, make sure he lets you take a turn and he does not hog all the fun
  5. I tried to tell a guy who had one of those "bug foggers" that all that black smoke is the your fuel mileage going down the tube.

    Oops....

Maybe the driver was British and thought they were on the wrong side of the road
  7. AWSOME job 3P!! You certainly did your good deed on this!
  8. make sure to leave some trucks for the rest of us. Good job saving this one
  9. Yeah, totally agree with the above comments! The trip will be well worth it if you can make it. Not only LOTS of COOL trucks, but you can walk around the Gerhart lot and look at the stuff they have. I am fairly certain they have at least one "U" model there. Plus they usually operate a bunch of construction equipment (draglines, dozers, dumps) which is an added benefit. Hope to see you there George
  10. I did see that. Would'nt that be fun to take around to shows. All I keep thinking is that I am glad I don't have to put tires on that
  11. right. Now if it was white B61 with an air ride axle and custom sleeper, then I would think about spending that.
  12. I always wondered what that was at the Gerhart Mack show. It is a very cool truck to see.
  13. Hey, maybe find a chassis with a 12V DD already and then fit the "B" cab on to that. Just another angle on the question
  14. David. I was not able to make the show, but your pics helped ease that pain. Thanks!
  15. Congratulations! Glad all is well. It looks like you need a few more kids so you can have a driver for each truck. Enjoy every moment with them, as I have learned, time really does fly when they are growing up.
  16. Exactly. Pretty cool movie. lLike to see all that different types of trucks. I think one of those Goblin radiator "guards" would look great on a "U" Model, What do you think? You still have a week or so to get it ready for Macungie so we can check it out
  17. Pretty cool, But I've seen better movies. I should know, I got the merit badge last summer. I am pretty sure it the movie was fake.....I never heard of an 8v92 sneaking up on anyone
  18. If you get any shorter you will be behind yourself
  19. Bring in your own truck. Show them what a real truck looks like
  20. Thanks Bob. I guess I will have to raid my piggy bank if I ever happen to find one. I think Oldmacks.com has a firetruck with a Hall-Scott for sale
  21. Ah I see. Yep that would do it. Glad you figured it out How is it running now?
  22. Do you think there is an oil leak putting crankcase oil into the engine?
