A-...dammit,you stole my thunder! I guess i'm just old school, don't know anything about automatics, never drove a truck with one, don't want to. Been doing OK with 5, 9, 10, 13, and 18 speed transmissions for over 30 years in pretty much any situation and all conditions, so why change now? Besides, what if I drove one and liked it? I'd have to...well, ain't figured that part out yet, but it ain't likely anyway.

I was climbing Lookout pass with 49,000 lbs. on, just fixin' to shift into high gear, about a mile from the top when I took this picture. ...did I mention the load was also 14' wide?...and 13'-6'' high? ...and that I was running into a 60 mph headwind?

This is a secret spy picture I took in Rob's shop when I stopped by there anonymously recently. He hired this clown to be a painter, but he was having some difficulty with the yellow paint. Or either he was trying to make a hamburger when he was supposed to be working. The only reason he was hired in the first place is because his sister here takes him to work and back every day because he never learned to drive.

Hi Daddyslilgurl, welcome back!..glad they let you out again.no telling how many words of wisdom from Rob you've missed here. good thing not a lot's been going on , or everything would've gone up in flames I saw where mouses have been in the mixer again, chewed up part of a roll of paper towels. Time to put more Irish Spring in there. That's one of my biggest fears, that they'll gnaw on the wiring and something will short out and catch fire.

you should feel special, surrounded by a family of in-laws like that. I guess Momma must have been the pick of the litter I think you're trying to get me to post more neutralizer pictures, like the Valentines day ones. I'll look for groundhog and presidents day pictures later, I must be off to Lynchburg to unload and to the shop to load another Roxana Il. first.

by the way-how come you weren't wearing glasses in the photo of "yourself" that you posted on your birthday? That was long before Foghorn Leghorn allegedly broke your glasses...Ah-HA!!!-busted! see, we're smart-can't pull the wool over our eyes! reminds me of the old saying- "don't do that, it'll make you go blind!". So I quit when I needed glasses. -

reminds me of the time my Grampa had a new well dug.They asked him if he wanted to fill in the old one with the dirt,and he said no,he was going to pull the hole up and split it into post holes and sell 'em.
