  1. I was wrong again- it's not an elephant, it's a pachyderm, and not an F-150 but an F-250.
  2. to upload from the gallery you have to save the picture first- just right click on it, then left click "save as" pictures, documents, or whatever. That's how I repost Rowdy's and others pictures.
  3. well whaddya know, I found it! Looks like the F-150 he was hauling it on though instead of the Ranger.
  4. that's where I get a lot of bungees- pick up broken ones and tie them in a square knot.
  5. just wanted him to know what kind of truck it was, if the hood was closed he'd still be trying to identify it.
  6. Oh no, nothing like that- i'd just let it cool off, checked the radiator, filled it up, and had it running about 900 rpms. to see where the antifreeze was going. I've put a gallon of antifreeze in it every morning since the radiator was fixed. No drips, no visible leaks, but a gallon still disappears every day. Let it get to almost 200 degrees and still didn't see anything.
  7. Jeff gave me some pictures of this B-model today. I think he said it was in California, don't know if a driver delivering there somewhere took them or who's it is, but it's a nice looking truck. Copy's aren't that great.
  8. Too bad I deleted that picture. I had a picture of Rowdy transporting an elephant in that little Ranger- a full grown elephant! It was covered with a tarp, but you could tell it was an elephant, without a doubt. That's what happened to his springs. By the way Rowdy, did you trade trucks recently?..I thought I saw you.
  9. I pick dozens of them up off the ground every day- i'll mail you a hook. I'll send two so you'll have a spare.
  10. I've patched tarps with Gorilla Tape- good stuff! I use the same heavy duty industrial grade Duck Tape for my light jobs.
  11. yeah, like the stupid bitch that sued MacDonald's when she spilled the coffee on herself- where do they find a jury that would side with her on that? Probably the same people that are protesting now. When do people take responsibility for their own actions?
  12. Bobtailed to Michigan and brought this trailer back.
  13. This turned out to be the best advice. Had her just long enough to get good and and attached, but the puppy died yesterday. She seemed to be getting better every day we had her. Jo called me yesterday crying and told me she had died. She was feeding it every couple of hours and wrote down what time she ate and how much each time. She said it started crying so she picked it up and it was squirming so much she didn't have enough hands to hold her. She thought it was just hungry so she put it back on her blanket and put it's bottle in some warm water. The pup then scratched it's ear with it's hind leg, just like a big dog does- never done that before. Then she said it sat up with it's mouth open and was trying to breathe through it's mouth- and died. If I knew then what I know now i'd have taken it to the vet last weekend- maybe they'd have found something, you never know. She must have had some internal injury from being dropped, but it was eating good, pooping, peeing, seemingly getting stronger all the time. I buried her in the back yard when I got home today.
  14. that's right, no more multiple tags or "bingo cards", just need an IFTA sticker now-you can display them old tags on the wall.
  15. for what? she's not thinking of coming after me is she? I thought everybody would like the way I enhanced the looks of a Peterbilt...that's what I get for thinking. I'll be leaving town today anyway- I gotta bobtail all the way to Michigan to pick up a trailer. It's raining too. Hate to bobtail in the rain. Uhhh...by the way, I found a piece of plate in the scrap pile yesterday, made a pattern out of cardboard, and burned out a bracket extension for the alternator. All I need now is a bolt through the top bracket and a longer belt. That's what I was looking for in the junk trailer, a ready made predrilled perfect fit bracket but I only found the mirror.
  16. That was Milton, W.V. We do deliver beams from Petersburg to that big steel place in Milton, Pa. but I haven't been there for a while.
  17. I would have sure asked them if i'd known you needed one.
  18. well, shhh...oot! I thought you'd be pleased. By the way, I can see why she's a virgin.
  19. I took that mill roll to Gerdau-Ameristeel in Petersburg yesterday and loaded another one to take to Milton. On the way out I saw this F-model on the pile waiting to be shredded. It was still there today so I got another picture of it.
  20. We deliver treated lumber to Carter Lumber stores around that area, Kent, a couple in Akron, Alliance, Warren, Middlefield...and more. Hat City oughta like this- I was looking around in the old curtain side junk parts trailer today and saw an old Mack mirror laying in the floor. I took the half-dog off of it and posed it on a Peterbilt. I brought it home and put it in the corner cabinet with my other truck stuff.
  21. I was on rt. 24 in Appomattox, at the surrender grounds- did you lose it? I'll send it back if it's yours.
  22. sorta-kinda what I do. I hit "browse", then I might have to choose from pictures, documents, or wherever I saved the picture as. When I find the picture I want I right click on it, then click "select", then "add to post".
  23. I think Rowdy Rebel has a copyright on that.
  24. I'd probably do it backwards or something if I tried it.
