  1. Had the hood open today.
  2. Don't they have kibbles and bits where you come from? I mean, varmints like possums, groundhogs, or wallabys are one thing, but a bunny?..and you gobbled that thing up like you hadn't eaten for a month! Come on, you should be ashamed! Dozer, shoot me an e-mail to drphil@dooshbag.com and i'll see if I can get you on the show and get you the help you need. We can beat this!
  3. It's well worth stopping if you're in the area, I was very impressed.Always liked the M's and Super M's But this is a good looking tractor too. My brother had a 350 Farmall, but he sold it. ...and this GMC was looking good too.
  4. Yeah, in the old box with a door on top that you lifted like a freezer door, packed in ice. They had an old bottle collection too.
  5. Well, I finally made the trip down there today! It's Friday, vacation's about over, it was now or never. Man, it was- it was a great trip! They had more tractors than i'd ever seen in one place, some makes and models i'd never even heard of. They have Detroit Diesel powered Olivers and Massey Fergusons, the Minneapolis Moline with the cab on it, and about anything else you can think of. They had old cars, trucks, firetrucks, old tools, steel traps, bicycles, and on and on. All for $8 admission. I took over 200 pictures! Here's a few of them- This MF has a huge engine,eh? It's all engine! I thought it was at least a 16 cylinder, with about 1200 hp, but the sign said it was a six cylinder, 89hp. GM power Some trucks- that is indeed Dr. Bill's W-71 they have, along with this GMC tanker that he was hauling in the video. I don't know how they managed to get these trucks, but it was a great score! Some of their pulling tractors- We got a cold RC out of the icebox when we left. Yeah, they have moon pies too.
  6. never heard of it before.
  7. That's a neat looking truck. Olive, i'd like to see that sleeper compartment- how about you be brave, return to the scene, git up in it, and take a snapshot of it. Thanks.
  8. It's not that bad! Here's an example, I censored anything that might be considered offensive-
  9. Got any pictures? I drove this one a little when I was about 18-20 years old. Used to be a wrecker where I worked.
  10. Thank you for the pictures. Well I'll be! I thought i'd seen most everything, or at least heard of everything, but this IH is all new to me.
  11. Man, that's a whole 'nother story- I've had a 70 Chevelle, '72 Rally Nova, '68 Camaro, '70 Buick Skylark, and a '70 Olds Cutlass Supreme i'd like to have back. The Cutlass Supreme was probably the best car I ever had. Looked like this, but mine's was solid green.
  12. What DM800 parts truck?
  13. This could be the funniest thing i've seen on BMT!..or not.
  14. No, wait, this just might be the new "funniest thing i've ever seen on BMT", and there's been a lot of them.
  15. Thanks Vlad, great story and pictures. Like 41 chevy said, it looks way different than I thought. That could pass for many places in the U.S. People are pretty much the same all over, and want the same things, just the gummint is different.
  16. That just might be the new "funniest thing i've ever seen on BMT", and there's been a lot of them.
  17. Guess that answers my question too- Doug Maney is very wise indeed.
  18. Well, gee- sorry Olive. I have heard of them there "tarp" things. I've even used them before, but never thought to cover that cement mixer truck with one! ...and no, I took a few more pictures before David got there- again, without permission or authorization, so I was skeert to post them.
  19. I got these 2 new used tires from David yesterday. Coulda put them on yesterday afternoon, but i'm on vacation- don't want to over exert myself in one day. So, I went and put them on this morning, after a stop by NAPA to get new lug nuts. You can see my reflection in the fender, I'm wearing a yellow T-shirt, holding a camera. That diet i'm on is working great, eh? Still a pretty good looking unit, but sitting out in the weather is really taking a toll on the paint. I got them on pretty true and straight, but only tightened the lug nuts with a half inch drive ratchet, i'll take it down to the shop one day and jack it up on the level floor and recheck and retighten them. I also took this neat picture yesterday, but I took it without permission or authorization, so we'll just kind of keep quiet about it, ok?
  20. yes, it's closer to this- or the way this used to be anyway.
