  1. I stopped and looked around at the Neil Armstrong museum in Wapakoneta, Ohio about 30 years ago. RIP Neil Armstrong.
  2. In response to Ben's recent post about the big secret getting out, and Mark's reply to the Polish festival, we once again turn to the "secret spy camera". This is a secret spy camera photo of Mark's home aquarium. I knew his explanation of the New York "water dogs" was phony- this is the real deal, the secret spy camera doesn't lie, eh?
  3. you've come to the right place, this is the best site on the interweb machine. There's some very knowlegable Mack people here, (not including me of course) and everybody helps everybody. I'm just an idiot from the planet Krylsgrmmitrzon, here to observe randyp. ...and I pass thru Washington pretty regularly.
  4. I drive an mx, 455hp, 1650 ft. lbs. torque. I haven't had any major breakdowns myself, but another of our trucks with an mx just exploded the engine at around 100,000 miles. PACCAR put a new crate engine in it under warranty, and told the local KW dealership to send the blown one to them and to not touch anything on it, so they could try to figure out exactly why it failed. My biggest gripe with it is the lack of power, it's rated at 455hp. but it pulls like a 350 Cummins. In fact, I think i've driven several 350 Cummins that would pass the 455mx on a hill like it was tied to a stump.
  5. Is that the one that was on 422 just east of New Castle?
  6. great, that's a good show if that's the same one that's on Hank's truck pictures.
  7. good looking unit, I concur with all the above too.
  8. I might eat hotdog soup, but that tripe even looks disgusting in the store- they should keep it hidden or something.
  9. much better, thanks Bob.
  10. Yep, according to the birthday calendar, today is Paul Van Scott's birthday. Happy birthday Paul, and drop in more often- your wit and wisdom is greatly missed!
  11. thank you.
  12. I don't know, but I'm 56, and if there hadn't been a hot babe crossing the street I would not have taken a picture of Oakland, Md.
  13. Looks good though, that and the B-model both probably looked great back when they were still running.
  14. My old friend David Elder used to say "there's too much good meat on a hog to be eating the guts and the brains".
  15. I see them too!
  16. I see those!
  17. Got a few this week- looks like an MH Mack approaching... it was an MH! I saw a big Mack dump truck too. there was also this old rusty shovel machine, a North and South trailer, an old Ford, and an old Chevrolet at the same place. I saw Oakland, Md. too. and this Marmon in Rustburg this morning. ...and that's all I saw this week- except for this Cat rock truck. and this, almost forgot this monster!
  18. I can't get it to open.
  19. This listing is gone so I couldn't see the picture, but I saw a nice looking B-model wrecker for sale a few weeks ago in Fairmont, West Virginia. Had forgotten about it. Didn't get a picture, and haven't been by there since. It was red, sitting just south of exit 132 on I-79.
  20. I'm gonna try to make it to the show Saturday. I'll wear a BMT t shirt so I can be identified- I'll be the old fat balding gray haired guy wearing a BMT t shirt.
  21. I must be getting smarter all the time then, i'm getting less hair all the time.
  22. or just make a lap around the capital beltway.
  23. I saw the goats on the cliff in Moorefield yesterday. Didn't see any chickens though.
