  1. I would have left yesterday going to Warren,Pa. with a load of lumber but we didn't get the load until late, and when I got loaded about 4pm. I was tightening a strap when it just snapped. I went rolling one way, my bar went the other way, and the strap flew over the trailer. I had all my weight on the bar trying to get that last click. It was raining at the time, and after I fell I came home to take a shower before I left. Todd had said I could load yesterday or this morning anyway. Didn't hurt me,except my left thumb is sore and swollen. Never had a strap just snap like that one did-never fell it tear,or stretch, it just snapped all at once like somebody hit it with an axe-a sharp axe. There were no cuts or tears in it at first either. It was a Kinedyne strap and I looked on the tag to see where it was made but it didn't say. The one Ancra strap on the trailer said "assembled in USA."
  2. Saw this yesterday on 460 between Lynchburg and Bedford.
  3. there's a Fury (I think) about that age sitting up here in Rustburg for sale. I'll get a picture. It looks like the Christine car, but it's green and white.
  4. This is the bun team.
  5. I'd go for it. And good thinking about getting it on paper Tim. And, he might agree to that arrangement until a paying customer does come along, which you give you some time to be checking out other options.
  6. .
  7. I know what you're sayin' there Ed, my meat wasn't loafing the whole time she was here, but it has been ever since the ugly scene when she got fired, and left here in tears because she didn't get to finish her job. I was almost in tears myself, but I did enjoy watching her walk away- took another picture as she was leaving...
  8. beautiful truck in the picture, hope you guys can find it, good luck .
  9. well gee!..wish i'd known you could do that before I made the meatloaf, watered and fertilized the peppers, and gave the dawg a bath. Doesn't matter, Jo probably would have told them to hit the bricks too, like she did my cooking instructor..
  10. ...and this train has officially derailed...
  11. yeah!..and the boss looked like this!
  12. prolly won't see a welcome like that on any other site!
  13. Jo wanted some meatloaf, but she wanted me to make it because i'm a much better cook. I like meatloaf too, but i've never made it in my life, so... I got on Craigslist and found a buffessional chef to come over and teach me how to make a meatloaf. She really seemed to know her stuff too. Unfortunately, Jo saw her and fired her before she got started good. I took a picture of her just before she was fired. ...and I still don't know how to make meatloaf, guess i'll just have to fake it.
  14. or at least corner protectors! maybe Dozer did that on purpose because there's no kibbles and bits on there...unless they're on the bottom- yeah, that's what it is.
  15. Rowdy and Dozer leave the grocery store...
  16. I like the blue one in your picture, looks like a B-67, and the white dump beside it, and that other one beside the dump truck too. But I think I like the blue one best...yeah, i'll take it.
  17. I look around for that truck every time I run rt. 2 up from Weirton, but i've never seen it.
  18. Polo!..
  19. thanks Bob!
  20. Yep, the shorter the trailer the harder it is to back.
  21. They should have sent one Warthog in there to clear the mob from the streets around the embassy. That would be my protest response. All over a movie they didn't approve of. What if we killed and murdered and slaughtered and destroyed every time we didn't like something?..geez!
  22. Looking good! I always liked dark and light shades of the same color on a truck. Jamerson Brothers used to have dark blue/light blue and dark green/ light green F-models and R-models.
  23. It's sitting just south of exit 132, east side of the interstate. It's up in the north corner of the lot, out by I-79, up on the hill. Here's their website, with a phone no. http://www.jarcotrucksandtrailers.com/pre_owned_list.asp
  24. That old GMC's been there a long time. It was almost covered up by weeds and bushes. When I saw that most of the brush had been cleared from around it I walked up there and took some pictures the other day. I was delivering about 200 yards down the street from it in Chester, W.V.
