  1. Just run the over head and check not the hard! Loose means nothing unless you’re on the valve set marks! That space is there to make the engine brake function! 220 is bolt tourque that said as Joey mentioned top end with studs ! Esi Engine 53 quart pan!

  3. There ya go! Get that puppy pulled down inspect it and decide what parts you need don’t overlook the oil pump it’s likley toast with all the crap gone through it pull the oil cooler down and clean it out as well! Check the main bearings caps ect and the block! Then you can determine what you need totally! Note take lots of pictures! Can save you a lot of headaches! Did confirm the pistons are one piece?

  5. did they change something in 2006? That I’m unaware of Joey? Curious! We once bought a used long block 380 to replace a 460 wouldn’t make 28 psi boost down from 35 fought it for a month till we did some research and ended up doing a key ! Hence the don’t ask! Don’t like handing out false info!

  13. Yuck !😡that’s bad news bro! I have never seen a cruise liner powered by anything other than a Mack engine! That doesn’t mean it was a given! I would imagine they a scarce as hens teeth there! You can put anything in anything if you got the time and money! The problem mainly is the front mount set up!

  16. Sorry to hear bro ! Unfortunately your in the years where they may have been experimenting with two piece pistons pull the pan and up root the pistons! This first try at this didn’t work well for mack you may have a broken piston skirt !The lash you show in the second vid is normal on an engine brake engine! Let us know what you find!😡
  17. Oh ya! 😡 Found a gusher with this setup! By the way this is not my set up how ever he is a member here I have been helping him with his issue in this case lots of smoke lacking boost!

  22. what trans do you have and do you have any fault lights ? If no faults and If You have a Mack trans >try disconnecting the torque limit switch on the rear of the trans

  24. Well in My mind you either got to check the fuel pressure Or get out the Parts Canon your choice! You need to get facts ! Or just start throwing things at it and hope! If you are also dealing with a miss or partial miss there is a possibility of a broken EUP Spring! Just sayin!
