  1. Nate How much gap do you have between the clutch brake and the clutch brake inside !should have 13 mm to 14 mm or 1/2 inch to 9/16! If you got that then its set correctly And the cross shafts could be sticking Or the clutch is simply done! Remove the pin from the clevice and move the arm is it stiff! should be floppy!
  2. So you need to turn the ring on the inside! Under the cover on the bottom!

  4. The main question is !Does the clutch brake still work? If so your look to adjust the inside!
  5. I hated the fuel filter sensor plug to dam hard to line up! the whole filter set up is a dogs breakfast just like the fuel system its all relative! 😢
  6. Yup Heizy they can't leave shit alone there's always a better way ! 🙄 That push together Cam idea was an accident going some where to happen! And as I have said before that dollarstore fuel system should have never happened ! They needed to have put a proper bosch HI system on the engine it would be almost bullet proof ! they needed to have redesigned the head totally and fix it properly ! They just add insult to injury it seems! 😡

So first of all- if the clutch brake is still working you need not adjust the arm if you have lost the clutch brake your clutch cable may be failing also the cruise liner had issues with the floor cracking where the cable attached to the floor check that out ! there was a reinforcement kit to address that issue back in the day! If you have no free pedal again you either the threads on the ring inside are striped or the clutch could simply be worn out ! highly unlikely however.... In my mind you got a cable issue there I would be looking closely at the pedal end of the cable before getting to carried away! just sayin! So my trip to see Big Ben Might be Still on Then???

  9. So can you confirm that the fuel lever is going full stroke? Also smoke at load may indicate a boost leak plugged air cleaner ect ! Check the tube that feeds the air compressor if it feeds from the intake manifold it may have a hole in it!

    humidity sensor! when these engine hit 33 psi boost they derate! I often thought of putting a pressure regulator on the boost sensor so the putor would never see the max but never had the opportunity!😪

  17. You want them tight pipe sealant on the threads tight 3/8 wratchet tight!
  18. NO silicone around coolant use contact cement to glue the gasket to the pump!
  19. You would with think An open EGR there would be power issues!
  20. Steeler if you find the fix post it! Hopefully the parts canon shooting injectors at it is the fix! it can be so many things with these dam emissions engines! 🙄
  21. Do you have a press? As joey stated there are procedures the cam gear is sweated on ! If you don't have an oven you can use a torch! And start from the out side of the gear and work to the center slowly heat it up to around 475 I believe not positive on the temp and don't forget the cam retainer you'll be hating life if you do! 😡
  22. So is it possible you have a sticky valve on one cylinder ? one slow returning valve could cause what your seeing! I have only seen it happen once and never resolved the issue! Note be sure to replace the rocker bolts these have had breaking issues in the past! Have you checked the push rods for straightness!

  25. Egr diff sensor ? Venturi ports clogged?
