Do you have an auto dark helmet ! I find that helps alot! you can adjust the darkness on mine !

Bro ! Check the valve set first If the valve set is correct and you got your 16/24 or close then maybe there is a burned valve! or a chunk out of the valve seat on that cyl! again I hardly believe its not an rebuilders error more of an parts malfunction! These rarely failed a lifter but anything is possible ! I have heard rumor's here on the site of sticky valve guides I have never run into in our area how ever Shit happens! It the valve set is off then the head will likely be coming off! Please keep us posted It helps everyone gain knowledge!

The new style lifters seldom failed but if it came as a whole piece it definitely would not come out the pan plug !

yup sleep is good! Just one more thing check the valve set on that cylinder it will be loose on the exhaust if the lifter has failed!

Check for a bent push rod also!

Yup popping on the intake is a classic failure usually on the exhaust!

Cranked up to 7 on the auto set still a bit to hot however welds like a champ! that there is an adjustable top link for my Davey brown tractor made from a ratchet chain synch! I got a feeling this will weld half inch plate with no issues That was 3/8 and still too hot! should have made that vise grip ground years ago works deadly can't come of with out intervention!

Because it has to go down the right Wire! Magic fan and air fan are two different animals! one runs on mil volts one runs on 12 volts! Air fan has 12v solenoid!

If it still turns over it likley got air in the fuel! double check the oil level if its over fuel do not attempt to start! If oil level is good pump the primmer pump and try starting! 1

yup think that's kind of rare for the n14 the small cam engines would do that on a regular basis! they when to bigcam then big cam2 and the issue faded ! Didn't work on these much!

Fixed the only thing I didn’t like about the machine today the dollar store ground clamp!

All this stuff has electronics just the way it is these days ! The tweco this replaces had digital volt gauge that was all over hells half acres would Not come back to the same set voltage EVER! There inlies why I replaced it! if you put some down force on the voltage knob it would sort of hold its set! tried putting a push down strap on the knob was only slightly better! Done now hopefully! no more fighting!

Yes ! Turbo replacement aint cheap! check first! I am no guru on this however ! do you have ptt? Check the fuel pressure first and Check 7th injector spray and EGR Flow! ! The injector spray is important too! Turbo lack of a air creates soot! Soot plugs the grid ! Not enough boost can't create the heat needed to burn the soot! Viscous circle! Check and clean also Diff pressure sensor on the venturie tube the egr flow can create more soot that can clog the turbo sleeve causing it not to stroke properly! another viscous circle! Start at the front work to the back if your in doubt! the engine will surge with either or condition From what I have witnessed! If you don't check /repair the shit in front of the turbo and replace the turbo you will be back at it in short order! Just sayin!
