  1. Correct! Paul , As I said it’s intended job! And I wish they would get on with it ! Elon has been baiting people on with his full electrical situation for years now with no solid outcome!these guys don’t need to follow the same path! There is tons of equipment that could benefit from what they are doing!
  2. Twice the torque of diesel! they have yet to put it to work doing the job they intended it to do! It moved a full load of logs on flat ground just fine time will tell if it does it’s intended job! As a side note they have decided on scania as the engine they will proceed with when they get rolling! Unless a customer wants other than!
  3. Crack at least three fuel lins At the head pump the hand primer till you have solid fuel NO FOAM then tighten and then try to crank it should light up on those cyl enough to get running provided there isn't an electrical glitch!
  4. Yup I agree with Joe here post your symptoms a see what the masses say !also last six of your vin and model!lots of help here if you post all the info!including history of your issue!
  5. Depends on a guy’s budget I guess buddy!😀

  10. Well don’t be driving around with no brakes check it out!
  11. How far is it coming out? Any farther than 2 inches with the spring brake applied then your not adjusting properly!
  12. Joey do you have any pictures of these tools I have built a half dozen of these an the only Tools I had were the ones for 92/93 had know idea at here were caging tools! guess I just made due!
  13. Yup check wiring to the timing event mark er rear side of the fuel pump!
  14. Push down and counter clockwise 1/8 turn if I remember correctly!
  15. yup also anti compound check
  16. Dodger did you get the clutch adjusted right ?
  17. Need to take in all the evidence before you pounce!
  18. just something i suggest trying is on level ground release the the spring brakes see if this changes the leak at the treadle im thinking check valve here just something to rule out before replacing the treadle!
  19. Check both big poles on the solenoid should have power on one and not on the other! Also is the power wire touching the trigger wire on the starter?
  20. Yup I'm getting a bit rusty with this stuff been away from it for a bit now ! So I'm glad you chimed in! I'm relying on memory and that's not as good as it used to be!🙄
  21. I would make sure your front mount is the the same your getting into the years where the front mount was changing to a two bolt mount from the trunnion arrangement on the newer unit! otherwise this would bolt in! also does the newer truck have a charge air cooler in front of the rad?
  22. I’m sure you can if you can find one that puts out 20 or so psi!
  23. He has been fighting with this truck for awhile now ! From what I understand the EGR is capped off! From my experience should throw a code for egr flow but not effect or derate the engine How ever this may have changed in certain years?! At one point it was pulling well ??? not sure if this has changed! He claims the turbo is stroking completely on startup! with out the boost gauge it is hard to gauge whether its getting all it has! Also its hard to know if the turbo blow off or by pass is stuck open or getting weak! I understood that that valve started bypassing at 20 or so psi!
  24. It pays to not get too trigger happy! And not to over think stuff! Weigh out all the evidence and proceed with caution all of which you have done! Also very happy for you! Now all ya need is a turbo hopefully you’ll find the parts and all will be good! While you got it apart do a valve set and tiddle things up while waiting for the turbo!
  25. Need pic back and front!
