Lack of Fuel in my opinion as well ! l Check all the simple stuff first ! Fuel tank vent lines and hoses to the pump ! Also if the smoke limiter has a hole in the diaphragm it will be low on juice! if you can remove the line to the limiter and blow or suck on it if it wont hold a vacuum or you can blow thru it has a hole in it!

This is why we do pdi inspections and incudes greasing and checking for missing or loose bolts ! Once ran across an mr with a bolt missing on the rh steering arm for the tie rod ! Also a loose steering box missing spacers! Simple oversight’s the could be disastrous for every one involved! Like wheels falling of jets not a great scenario!

Also check the stop to Mack sure it’s going all the way on!

I have a a friend I have known for years in the pump business here ! He is the only guy I trust when it comes to any fuel pump! He built my 6.9 pump hes done many bosch pumps for us at the Mack shop here He is a little more price wise but you know what your getting ! He doesn't cut corners ! Worth paying a few bucks more for a pump sometimes! Pays to do some research! -
All good there all good ole cheap parts ! when I got into this business q brakes were just starting to take. Over! From pin brakes mid 70s ! Don’t know how many p brake’s we converted to q but it was allot quite the in ovation at the time! Just same old same old now! I’m. Interested to see how disc brakes are going to do or if we will return to the past due to the expense!

Could we get a picture of the hub side? Are they double nut bud wheels? If it’s fruehauf some older stuff the studs hold the drums on!

Amen ! That said a straight pipe ford sounds better to me tha the straight pipe dodge! I also hate harleys I like peace and quiet in my old age !😂 been married to long I guess! 😂 -
Yup extreme cleaning while doing anything around the pump!you can upset the apple cart real quick!

Worth a try I suppose! What did you use to turn the top section?You would have to be careful to clean out all contaminants!

Do you have a diesel repair shop in your area? If so you could have the top piece lapped as a patch up! Try snuging it first!

Nope it’s metal on metal ! You could try putting a 11/4 wrench to it and try tightening abit! The top and bottom are two lapped peices! The oring is ment to seal out dirt!

Nope for me a v8 a locamotive or a radial plane engine does the trick!

Sounds good! Remember to double glue them gaskets! And silicone on the hold down bolts

yup these are real sensitive to air leaks on the clutch slave! How many miles on the clutch it may be due for the works ! Fly wheel slave and a new clutch!

If it were the torque limit you would not have 30 psi boost! It cut’s the power in half! As Joey stated check the grounds behind the dash and below the starter and the frame ground!

So Trent !I got to ask is your damper divided in to three!? Is there the lines on the damper? Firing order153 624. 1-6. 2-5 3-4 once one 1 slack valves set it move to 2-5 set 5 move to 3-4 set three and so on ! Work through the firing order till you’re set! Also the best way to make the dam gaskets stay on is with gasketsinch both cover and gaskets let dri the coat them again and let dri! TWO coats let dri then assemble to the covers! Drop the covers on dri no oil on any surface! Make sure the dynatard washers are flat and contacting the nubs! just sayin!

Quite honestly I would consider a stenco king pin kit a breaze to install once the pins are all out! Looks like an eaton or spicer axle you have there!
