  1. SPAMMER AleRT!!! Lol!!! Hot Dog Jim. Glad to hear from you. Pull up a chair once and awhile and participate. Lawd have mercy if we'd get Bento over here.
  2. When I stretched my truck and added the aux transmission, I had to play around with things to get the angles to all balance out. I think motor was like 4* down, so I had to hang the aux box tilted 4* down to match(but on the same height as motor) and then the rear was close enough. Each end of the shaft has to equal 0* to make the joints work smoothly. Mine has no noticeable shake, besides being a 60 yr old truck!
  3. Love it when a plan comes together!
  4. Crack a line and see if the transfer pump is moving any fuel?
  5. Typical pipe fittings should have enough give to align a fitting and seal okay. As long as you don't try to over tighten it and then try to back it up.
  6. Checking parts is very time consuming. I've built my fair share of motors through the years. Never a large diesel but that would just add to the complexity and time. Not to say anything about the size of the parts too!
  7. Lucky mine isn't violent. Just feel and hear the exhaust note surging as I try to hold a steady speed with little throttle application. Heavy load, no issue.
  8. I was thinking that myself. Like is he just running everything together with just an impact gun or what?? 🤣
  9. You beat me to it Terry. I was like...."that's Terry's truck"....
  10. LOL...,this came up on my feed today.....LMAO. (No women on here to worry about being offended)
  11. I used to be in a local July 4 th parade years back. Had about 5 trucks from local chapter get in it. The g/f always loved doing it and wishes we could do them again. It was always tough as we'd get home from my race at like 2am, sleep for 3 hrs and get up and get to the staging for the parade. She likes throwing candy to the kids and waving to everyone. I'd run the air compressor ragged with the constant horn blowing.
  12. The actual radiator or just the chrome shell? My shell comes off easily. The small radiator should be easy. The large version, like I have, takes some finesse because it is a very snug fit inside the outer collar.
  13. I know the throttle is actually sprung wide open and the large return spring returns it back to idle. I know this because the big spring broke one day and awwwwaay I went!!! Until I pulled the shut down. What exactly are you referring to? The little box on the side that has the linkage arm sticking out?
  14. Just the fender is clumsy enough but add the inner fender and it's going to get real awkward for one person especially if you care about the paint!
  15. I think he was with the "purge" and no longer around.
  16. Ya, don't hate the sticks but would like something not so plum wore out! 13 spd would be cheaper and easier to get. Unless someone has a good triplex and i could go through it and not spend millions of dollars!
  17. Ive been busy and not as regular here as I have been.
  18. I really like my Triplex and 237. Though I can't lug it like the motor could go, I like the splits in 4th and 5th. I don't need to split 2nd or 3rd. I'd like to find a 13 spd for it someday.
  19. Been checking in regularly and glad you gave us a heads up Jeff. Thanks.
  20. Wow.. that is a lot of What the heck is going on there? Especially since it only has a NTC350. The stretched it at the nose instead of the cowl.
  21. I think of this everytime this is mentioned. Monty Python Twit of the year. Go to 3:00 mark for the gun portion. The whole thing is funny as hell!!
  22. I've seen B models running with top fender panels off. I'd guess most were V8 trucks? My 237 doesn't get hot at all.
