Here is today's picture's. 5/10/26.  My Wife bought that ladder for me a while ago. It's really handy for me. I'm only 5'-9'' and 18'' thick..  

That ladder showed up in a damaged package and was all scratched up and the cushion was torn. After submitting a complaint, Fed/Ex refunded her $190.00.  So we got it for free.  I didn't expect that.

Nice! I like the look of these IH's.

Maybe you know Russia produced ZiS-150 trucks after the war with design grabbed from the IH. But slightly reworked with wider cab and flat head engine.

Just wonder how can you find the time t work on this project?

Vlad,  It is hard to find time. I have a full time job, and several everyday drivers to keep road worthy.  The pictures I posted spans over 3 years.  I went back through my history to create this posting.

Vlad, the engine does run good, and the driveline is strong. I pulled all the wires out due to condition. I am making it a 12 volt negative ground truck.  I am currently looking for a starter.  I will post a picture of my new wiring set up.  Thank you..🍻

Vlad, I used this little compartment under the seat to hide my modern wiring.  I will do my best to hide the modern changes. I did blast and paint some parts that are out of service, and mounted them back in their spots, so that I can show what was there in 1948...  

I do not have a high skill set nor the money to give this truck what it deserves, but I will make it go down the road.

Joey, step by step makes long ways covered. I remember you mentioned this project multiple times in other threads and it's a good idea to compile everything at one place. I'm going to keep my eye for updates. The truck looks like in a very good solid shape which means excellent potencial. And once the mechanics/electrics are ready you might put efforts to the paint or maybe just clear coat or even maybe some other unusual artificial solution. I picture the truck with flat bed body maybe with stakes or with a long narrow tank or maybe some special type of structure which would bring look and help using it to drive to a grocery shop sometimes. Good approach to the electrics. Modern stuff should not be seen on a classic rig but it can make its job done.

Vlad... You hit the nail on the head !! A wooden flatbed, grocery getter for sure, and hopefully a hay wagon in local parades...

Two wooden barrels put at the front of the bed right behind the cab would add country look. And could be used as luggage compartments perfectly.

During WW2 under Lend-Lease some handful of IH KR-11 dump trucks were supplied to Soviet Union. None of those known survived and even not many photos of them in service here too. Would be cool to find a similar one and import. But that's out of my capabilities at the moment.

Vlad, unless that is unique to the Lend-lease vehicles, that truck is no larger than a K-7. The -8's and up had 10 lug wheels. -5 and down had 5 lug and -6, -7 had six lug.

-7 will handle 5 tons no problem. I have done on mine.

Harder to tell when they have spoke wheels, but easy when they have disk's.

Also the hood isn't long enough to be an 8 or higher.

The GVW on mine is 16,500 pounds.  But ...... I certainly wont be testing its strength..   I just want to drive it around town...  🤫

One of mine has the same GVW the other is 21500 GVW. 

EW on yours and my flatbed is right around 6500-7000 lbs. so 10,000 more is right there.
