thank you for taking the hit on this one.

we were supposed to get it today with 8-12 inches..... on top of the 12 still frozen solid from last weekend.

when you are up to your armpits in alligators,

it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..

My co-worker Buddy was plowing a little to fast with the Telehandler... He got in the ditch by the hay field.  I hooked a log chain to him, and had him use the bucket and shoot boom to push himself out while I pulled with the 4X4 Jonh Deere backhoe.. It took 3 pusshes, and out it came..

We got around 3" at home, but I took a long weekend to Asheville area and had a blast with the maybe 8" they had in Weaverville. Didn't have any problems getting around or out of there, just being a good driver handles that no problem. Had no clue it would hit -2F real feel though, that was fun! Coldest temps I've ever experienced, but I'd love to experience again with better clothing.

To be honest... I have been in Central N.C. for 20 years, and this is the single most snow fall I have seen here.  I kinda like it, brought me back to Maine for a bit. 🍻
