Oh well...We always said that some day we were going to drive down to Bill's Truck Stop and meet up with Joey Mack for lunch. But now I'm not so sure, might have to do Burger King or something. We were talking with the guys with that F model Mack in Colfax a few weeks ago and somehow the subject of Bill's came up. I think I was telling them how I lost my Bill's cap.

And they said that since the original owner passed away it's under new ownership now and it's altogether different. I don't think they went the way of most truck stops and just have a fast food restaurant or roller grill items, but they said it's just not the same, and not nearly as good.

I was reading some reviews and some said it was great, some said it was horrible. And I'm not sure, but I feel like a lot of the good reviews came from close family members, because they had names like Rahejakimanistasiholko Stucvijanirackostopolus. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I don't think I'll be making a three hour drive to see for myself.

I think I'd go for some good North Carolina barbecue instead.
