Yes to all.  My boss bought one of those smooth top ranges,  we had a double wide avacado green range that Columbus installed and it worked great, the oven temp was spot on....  well.... it is now being used to make body panels for a KIA...

My wife bought one of those smooth top stoves, I have not had any trouble cooking on it, BUT the damn thing stays hot for a long time after you shut it off!!!! Must be very inefficient power wise????

Yes, it stays hot for at leaste 15 minutes.   Not good....

I bought one of those clear top stoves and later on I replaced it with a Viking gas range I like the gas stove better I have a collection of Griswold cast iron frying pans I cook with about every day I use a number five to cook my eggs every morning

I use two pizza stones on my gas grill, all burners on high and it works great.

So....  Heres a twist. something my wife and I have been doing for years.  When I trim chicken parts, I make stock.. Then add in frozen pee's, carrots, green beans, broccoli, and cauliflower, or combinations of them. this time its pee's and carrots...  We mix this into our Pup's dry food.....  They go nut's over it..

I forgot to add that those are chunks of chicken in there, picked off the boiled trimmings.  I also skim the fat off the top when it cools, and use it to fry some of my meals, like burritos  for example..
