Yeah can do.I'll get a good picture tomorrow(though I had one but I dont) and I'll post it...I think its a 14in twin plate  but not sure of the make....

Yup, looks nice and attractive. And nothing of the look it had when came into the shop.

A question - what did you use to clean the lower side of the cab? I see bare aluminium the most (or light paint?) And my Cruiseliner is well covered with dry mud all over the under side of the cab.

Heres a few pictures.Hope theyre good enought...Its a Spicer/Dana clutch.In one of the pics theres something to please you guys...It says Made In USA...

Reading through, it has a "pin" that has to go into the bearing retainer sleeve for the self adjusting mechanism to work.

Having said that, I too have not run across this type. The manual is dated 1981. It must have been an early design before the "Solo" self adjusters. 

I would try adjusting before giving up on it.  From what little is shown, a pin that wore or broke would disable the self adjusting feature. 

Hard to tell , almost looks like there's no clutch brake either.  Hard to tell how big it is too. Worst case if an attempt to service it in the truck doesn't work, replacements are available that'll go right in there without much trouble.

The clutch brake would make up the excess gap... at least he can add a 2 peice clutch brake and get it dialed in.  And stop the grinding to get it in gear.

I wouldn’t go that rout Joey ! It will still end up slipping at some point! Remove the two bolts and see if you can move the gear ring clockwise with the clutch depressed! You first need to identify if the clutch brake is even close! Some one may have been backing the external adjustment out to achieve free pedal! Just human nature!

I was thinking that also ! I have seen that plate lock with tab on it!

Look at the manual link I posted, the adjuster plate pivots to allow for manual adjustment.  I doubt a newer set-up would bolt in place and work. It might, but you gain nothing. This clutch can be adjusted.

Clutch brakes are optional. Push type often don't have them. 

JoJo your K-7 doesn't come with one. 

Clutch brake only speeds up how quickly the input stops.

fjh, did you look at the manual and the pages I referenced? 

You don't have to remove the plate, only loosen the left bolt and remove the right, then the plate and "lock" pivots out of the way allowing for manual adjustment, then pivot it back to lock in place.
