Sorry to hear bro ! Unfortunately your in the years where they may have been experimenting with two piece pistons pull the pan and up root the pistons! This first try at this didn’t work well for mack you may have a broken piston skirt !The lash you show in the second vid is normal on an engine brake engine! Let us know what you find!😡

Yuck !😡that’s bad news bro! I have never seen a cruise liner powered by anything other than a Mack engine! That doesn’t mean it was a given! I would imagine they a scarce as hens teeth there! You can put anything in anything if you got the time and money! The problem mainly is the front mount set up!

In the states, you wouldn't need to, there would be some close by.

My Boss at the bus company once air freighted a Gardner short-block across the pond, I don't know what that cost him!

No idea, but might be worth looking for freight-forwarder, and find out what it would cost to ship to you and what the duties would be.

There were lots of B and R model Macks in Spain and possibly Portugal, with same motors. Is it worth a bit of Sherlock Holmes work to see if you can find anything there?

Also maybe try contact Kevin Allmacks, he may have some suggestions becasue he has exported many trucks and parts.

Must’ve missed something I did not know the crank was shot. Yeah you’re in between a rock and a hard place. I agree with Geoff better have to fix what you got. If nothing else now you know what you have. Either way you’re going to be spending money and nothing is cheap operating expense. I used to own my own truck    Slap the plastic and get what you need to do the job right and do not cut corners.good luck

Nathan has had really bad luck with his Cruiseliner.I was talking to him during the week.He worked so hard to bring his truck back to life.Sometimes old iron can bite you hard.Clearly she suffered a loss of oil pressure but why?....

Yes. That is true..  im dealing with one of my own.  A small truck as it is, but each time i do something good for it. Something else pops up. So i have to collect myself, and start again.  I wish him to have the patience and fortitude to keep up his good work..  🍻

Someone marked the throw for some reason. That may have been  "doctored up" already. Like cleaned up with emery cloth and a new bearing from a previous failure ? You guys claim they're not common there, who knows what someone tried on it. No simple way out now 😕

😏 unless you have lots of patience and a micrometer, start polishing and get a undersized bearing. Compared to your other options, you don't have much to lose in this situation.  Although it looks like it might be already too late for attempting that too.  Just a thought....and not a good one, but

You could be right about the engine being doctored up Mark.I feel bad for Nathen after all the work he put into it.Yes Macks are very very uncommon over here.Nathen's is the last Cruiseliner in the UK and ours is the only Cruiseliner to have ever been regestered in Ireland...I only know of 5 other Macks in Ireland...3 F models,1 R model and a gas powered 50s stake truck not sure of the model as Iv never seen it.Theres rumour of an MH lurking around the country but its unconfirmed as of now....I hope Nathen gets sorted soon......
