Yes I think a lot of people called them Liberty’s, all the Mack documents I have seen said Freedom, The Mack Museum sent me a letter confirming my truck was a Freedom, and some original sales brochures, I can’t remember seeing Any Liberty Name in them , But I could have overlooked something.

For those who might have missed it before here is a link to my Flicker album of Tony's facility. These were taken in Sept of 2015 on the ATHS Down Under Tour..  Click on the first picture to open.. They are in reverse order to how I took them. The maroon "road train" of Macks in front of the shop, not unloaded yet as it had just returned from the Australian Truckies Renunion in Alice Springs, is Tony's "Southern Cross" edition. Later that evening, after dark, Tony lit it up and the 4 letters of MACK on the hood are raised and back lit with white LED lights. On both sides and rear of the bunk the words "Southern Cross" are cut out of a stainless sheet and back lit with red LED lights. My apology's, but my camera was back on the bus by then.
