There's been plenty of trucks of different makes called the "the other woman"

There was a series of mk II Superliners in Australia named after famous Australians

Back in the B model Mack days a lotta trucks had name's

Reportedly a lotta of the drivers couldn't read or right very well and the trucks in fleets in Australia were given names and if parts were needed the driver could get the message back that such and a truck needed what ever it was

I dunno, to the  character of the truck sort of developes as it's life progresses

Eric Ballard's Macks. Many years ago we bought one of Eric's Macks, B61, Mary Anne, this was the name of Eric's wife. Mary Anne is now back with the Ballard family in Dalby QLD and being restored. It was a 1957 model with 38 gears - 3 stick job and was mostly original, with the original factory yellow paint and scroll work untouched. Eric's nephew bought Mary Anne from Eric to tow a low loader carting their Cat bull dozer, for their tank sinking work. The Mack motor cooked for lack of water and the nephew fitted a Cat motor, which also was cooked when we bought it. It was originally sold to a drilling or outback power company. The buyer reneged and Eric stepped in and grabbed it because new truck supply was limited, especially Macks.

I ran outta likes for today but loving this thread...Nameing your truck is personal and should mean something to you.Our Cruiseliner will be called "Love Machine" after Pig Pen's from Convoy because thats the one that started the passion for a Cruiseliner. My wife calls it "The Mistress" because she said a mistress would be cheaper and she caught me in this rather dubious position last week confirming her suspicions🤣 My suggestion for your truck would be "Blue Thunder",if you would like a reference to her colour and chrome...Just my 2cents worth...
