Although I unloaded at -30F in Montana, the coldest I have worked was on US Steel coke battery in Gary, In. It was -20 or so, and the burning coal (coke) gets pushed in rail cars then quenched with water. One sec blasted with heat, the next steam turning to frost. The wind blows right off the lake. Set down a tool and it freezes to whatever you set it on. I made the repair and got out of there ASAP. Cloths got frozen,hard to move. The heat never lingered long enough to help, and the cold stuck around.

I don’t remember I do remember on my cruise liner. I had to slam the shit out of the door to get it to latch  most times I had to roll down the window. And push it from the outside I don’t remember pullstraps

lol well I got out of a RS model to get into the cruise liner and the doors close like  a dream in the R cab night and day difference as far as getting up into a cruise liner at 69. I’m not sure it would be so easy.

I have the same door handles inside my DM but they’re located over the door hinges to pull yourself up into the cab they came off of a UPS cab over. I don’t know if that’s a  UPS safety thing or a F model cabover thing they work well, especially on a passenger side .. Bob
