My guess is the ruling class wants never ending market and GDP growth. Also, the USA has not been at replacement birth rate since the very early 2000s. And even then it had been stagnated at barley above or below replacement rate since the mid 1970s. If you don't believe the AI hype then in order to continue year over year GDP growth you need more workers and consumers (children) than the current 2 generations of child bearing age Americans are willing to provide. If there are illegal immigrants here who have become assimilated and are gainfully employed then it would be easier to get them on the books and give them citizenship rather than deport them and either hope young, native Americans starting having more babies (they won't) or start over and properly vet several hundred thousand or million new legal immigrants.

When I was in 9'th grade the school that I attended pushed for collage and people like me were thought of as loser's by not wishing to go to college I decided to attend the local tech school and it was the one reason I did graduate plus I learned some life skills that I have been using for 53 years. If true exactly as described, Russia is in serious trouble and will be seeking revenge.

President Trump has agreed to a trade deal with India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where the US will lower tariffs on goods from India to 18% from 25%.

India will reduce trade barriers to zero and will also stop buying Russian oil. An additional 25% tariff penalty imposed for Delhi's refusal to stop buying oil from Russia will be dropped.

"He agreed to stop buying Russian oil, and to buy much more oil from the United States and, potentially, Venezuela," Trump wrote.

Additionally, Trump said Modi committed to buying over $500 billion worth of American goods including energy, technology, agriculture and coal products.

Don't forget the TRUST deal signed Jan 2025 - USA and India, maybe this was part of the plan!

India has been buying about 35% of Russian oil production and China buys 47%.

Well of course lawmakers on both sides of the aisle condemned President Trump’s call to nationalize U.S. elections. It would result in the demise of the party system (much to my personal satisfaction). Political parties, which in effect silence the actual desires of the people, should be banned. The founding fathers never intended for our government to be, in effect, controlled by parties.

Maybe economics and market forces will level out the oil price, quite feasible for the Venezuelan oil sell prices to ease down to the discounted Russian offers. In turn this will reduce Russian oil revenues and that may add to the Russian economy woos. Russia is a minor market, smaller than the California economy. The Indian NSA, Ajit Doval was the key operative in the TRUST agreement, I doubt he will allow that to be damaged or compromised.

There is another key development relating to the above. The Panama High Court has decided that the 2 ports ownership/leaseholds held by the Hutchinson Group from Hong Kong (effectively controlled by the CCP since the HK hand back by the UK) at either end of the Panama Canal are unconstitutional. The Panama govt has handed the lease/rights for the 2 Panama ports to Maersk of Denmark. Maersk is no 2 in world container shipping. Maersk separated its oil and gas operations, but still Danish controlled. Maersk oil is exploring for oil in Suriname, which just happens to be next to Guyana.

I have not seen any objection from the US administration about the Panama ports being granted to Maersk. Or did the US administration encourage this granting to Maersk? Surely this makes for smooth uninterrupted sailing of oil ships from Venezula (and Guyana and Suriname) through the Panama Canal and onto Indian refineries.

Greenland and Denmark!!!!!!!! And Maersk, Panama and oil to India!!!!! Just thinking.

Maersk have major operations in India and also shipping services for oil.

In Australia we have preferential and compulsory voting, both at our National and State elections. The preferential system is the worst possible election voting system. like the US it is realistic to say the founding fathers never intended for our govts to be controlled by parties, especially as they have cemented their control. The way the Australian Labour Party has structured the electorate, its immigration intake and the fake Teals and Greens, being like subsidiary companies, ensures that Labour has a front row seat to win many elections to come, National and State. Sadly our people have been conned and the effects are coming.

Venezuela crude is very heavy (and has a high sulfur content) which must be diluted with naphtha or Texas Light to flow. That said, our gulf refineries were designed specifically for processing Venezuelan crude.
