Key West, which voted last week to become a sanctuary city, changed its mind after intense pressure from state-level elected officials.

Key West commissioners at a city hall meeting on Tuesday night voted to uphold an agreement it had with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to cooperate with the Trump administration's mass deportation effort.

Those same commissioners chose in a 6-1 vote to void that same agreement last week and turn the area into a sanctuary city . 

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Attorney General James Uthmeier had threatened to remove Key West elected and unelected officials from their offices.

As a result, three of the six commissioners who initially voted to void the agreement, changed their vote. 

Key West Mayor Danise Henriquez also voted to restore the agreement which will allow local police officers to stop, question and detain illegal aliens.

No, not really as I've never met them. 

That event was mysterious indeed, as if an entity enticed a group of gullible individuals to create an embarrassment for Trump, an excuse for the Democrats to keep Trump out of government forever after. And they almost succeeded.

Anyway, it's time for the illegal aliens to go home.

All the Dems have is that photo.  The rest of us have hundreds of hours destruction after the drug dealer died of an overdose, and other peaceful protests where foreign flags are flown in support of things that are not related to the core values of the U.S.A. in which they destroy cars, and store fronts, and set fires..

I often wonder if people who believe in all the illegal migrants and redistribution of wealth they desire is well within their own reach. There's really nothing stopping them from giving their money and home to someone if that's what they really want to do. I get confused when they carry on like it's everyone else's civil duty to do the same. Something is very wrong when justice is dealt out for a turcking violation within a few days, but be here illegally and it's a minimum of months before anything can be done ?  Let's make laws.....ignore.  Brilliant !!!!
